12 bomb raid through the top ice Bridge with sorcery 😅 no room for benches so this is more a core loot room would add massive tower on top for more space plus extra boom for attackers and would put alot of blue goop torches in honey comb to freeze attackers on top. I would also add pop outs connected to external towers so I could gas bomb the front door
I hope it doesn't. Its an amazing way to defend your base. Yea my homey Trulyoneshot showed me how to layer it this way a while back. Its an interesting way to build your base.
Explosive arrows are too OP in my opinion. Get rid of the anti climb and use a handful of bombs to get through the roof layers quick and easy. Interesting build tho.
Protect the crenalated walls thats one of its major weaknesses and I believe that I could fence stack the door ways to improve the build but from what im told fence stacking is a banable offence now. Sad really.
I did the wall and the fill in today so that's great, I have a question that I'm sure others might have is how did you get one foundation higher then the other because that's important for the 2nd ceiling, keep making these videos, maybe ways to get those new archer and guard thrall places to snap in place? It is interesting, but you are away that 100 poison + explosive arrows will destroy 1 anti-climb and 10 bombs later people are inside. It hardly will stop any raiders. Some of the techniques you use can actually be used in a different way to make a more reliable effort... Unfortunately the current state of Conan is about undermeshing :(
Yea thats the most unfortunate part about the game the undermeshing. I like the build design but that is its fatal flaw. It will be best for a pillar position or high up position. I may try to make an improved version one day.
@@MarztheStoic please don't take as negative criticism; it is important that people keep sharing this stuff so that new players can collect techniques and learn a bit about building. I don't do officials anymore, and on private boosted, playing as single player the best way is playing nomad with body vaults and use abandoned bases to craft your stuff or make a small building outside raid hours to craft and before raid hours body vault your stuff. For the most players should try to find a clan at least for their 💯 hours if gameplay. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. I need to make strong ground bases for when I transition to Siptah... If I do. I think that stuff will be important for that map since Prefabs wont be as numerous.
looks great.. butttt.. treb or arrow one anti climb and your only two hatches off being raided.. not a real good pvp base.. great building skills tho..
I cant remember this was quite some time ago I think I said it some where in the comments. Sorry couldnt find the comment asking about it. I can safely say you do need quite abit of mats though.
Answer is way too many for how little security it really offers. Foundations directly behind a fence foundation are completely wasted btw, they get hit at the same time.
How is that big base to survive a raid? The sides look like they can take some hits but the front and doors....looks easy to get in unless I missed something.
Ok im going to explain this the best that I can. To get past all the doors will take 30 bombs. Im still new to door stacking and im pretty sure there is a more effective way to layer your doors. The front however is pretty tanky and can tank multiple hits easily. The door way is the easiest raid option. Another way to attempt a raid would be to go after the crenalations but you can peevent that by bein online as well as increasing the height of the base as well as having strong ground fighters and roof fighter. But none of that stuff will matter if you are not online. Thats the most important factor. Also I have another video where I raid test the structure so you can see how it holds up for yourself
@@MarztheStoic make a hidden door. By this I mean replace the first door, closest to outside, with matching wall foundation. If needing in or out..just break down that wall and replace it. Sure, your need to constantly use building materials to replace that one wall section but in doing this it might confused the raiders as to where to strike...there will be no visible doors to mark location.

@@brianc8840 I'd say test it on a solo server first to check for any stability issues and do a durability test with bombs. I'm not sure how strong this build is anymore compared to modern siege tactics.
@@MarztheStoic well... you see, its a pretty intersting one as a land base design. But in my opinion, its useless to show people good landbasedesigns. Like sorry but that is 2 hour farm and gone with good tools. Even the worst pillar base is better than any land basey believe me... habe been raiding a riddicolous amount of bases, both modded and official servers. This video shows a genious way for land base... but sadly land base useless xD
Yea... Thats kinda why I gave up on them. One of the major issues is that bombs are very easy to mass produce and so are explosive arrows. In theory I could make it more defendable by making the structure larger but then thats just more resources and time on official is always a factor. Plus this would only really serve to be a field operations base. It could function as a real base but how pvp has changed and dare I say "progressed" it would need to be updated. I saw a video a lil while ago of a war pyramid. I believe it was Midaj that would technically be more effective because of its multiple entry and exit points. But if thats how the game is going to be played going forward I'll have no part of it.

Im not going to argue if its clickbait but why do you feel as if it isnt a good defendable base. Not take into account that I only placed it in that position for the ease of building this can be built on most surfaces. Im aware that you can shoot off the crenalated walls thats the major design flaw of any ground base. What makes you feel like it isnt defendable? Does it need more entry points and exits? Does it just not look pleasing to the eye? What is it?

That was never the intent. If you feel like that was dishonest then I'll have to use the actual build as the thumbnail next time or use some inspiration from my favorite art. Thanks for the follow up man I appreciate it.
