Tbh if funcom is saying fence stacking is “exploiting the building system” then I would have to say most of this video is also exploiting the building system
I have a hard time with funcum saying "exploiting" .. How the hell are those self righteous bastards at FunCum going to ban someone for building within the rules of the fucking game that they designed ... We are playing by there rules in their survival game and building within the rules of their building system.. If FunCum doesn't like it or over looked it you don't ban people you change the rules so it can't be built that way.. FunCum pricks! always thinking with the wrong head.. and never take responsibility their fuck ups. Just blaming us for using there system.
Be careful you show defenses prohibited by the game! Double wall, ramline, double roof, double door, ect.... most of the stuff you show will just ban whoever uses it
@@smskcntr It doesn't, but the report wars are causing it to become problematic on officials, leading to not only being dev wiped, but also getting perm banned from the game. It's sad to see a great pvp game like conan falling victim to such sad ways of beating people. The mentality of "I can't raid them, so I'll get them banned" has become far too popular now :(
@@smskcntr it does violate the rules now, else people wouldn't be banned for fence stacking.. They're even working to remove it from the game (but from what I read it's only partially done on testlive). Wouldn't be surprised if any other "too creative" build method that get popular will also be banned.
Hold on, fence stacking, is that double walls? I'm new(ish) so I don't know, still learning. I'm a solo player on pvp, how else do I deter clans from raiding? And don't say join one haha
@@Amrah75 it's when you manipulate the fences to get super close. IE the drawbridge trick he did was amazing but the way he had to manipulate the fence using the other building pieces to get them closer than they normally would be.
Funcom really needs to revisit their PVP siege mechanics. You shouldn't have to spend 80 million bombs to go in to one base. They need a better gameplay loop for raiding. One that isn't 90% farming bomb materials, 10% PVP. Sometimes 0% PVP. 🤣
Ye gods, I agree. I am a musician, so I tend to work during raid hours and that is when I always get raided, and it is really starting to make me hate the game...@@OKRMetric
I tried to do fence-foundation stacking yesterday but the game didn't let me. I was on the single player trying different things. Is it possible that Funcom stopped it in one of their recent updates?
You'd just have to make sure the traps are far enough away from the door.. Like maybe create a crouching maze with explosive/vapor traps down the wrong path.
Build your base in the water with a tower and mine the beaches there gonna have fun finding the underwater door you have with the maze before you can even hit the surface on the inside, also use a crate to lock the hatch door into said base wet room and while your inside no one will be able to get in the normal way as they drown before that as the hatch is blocked from moving and now we can replace the items positioning it makes life easy to slid it back and forward when needed...just bring a lot of potions for air
