OK, I think this is going to be a good one. First real discovery, a place full of bones called "The Pit" and Angaar calls it "lovely". It's just possible Angaar really is a Pict 😁

Wish I'd spotted this stream ages back. Savage Wilds is an excellent map-mod. Very well designed, populated, and has a lot of proper challenges and the like to keep the game a challenge through all levels - kind of like an 'adult' version of the Exiled Lands map. Will watch stream with great interest.
Angaar "Let's Play" of Savage Wilds. It will be interesting to watch you explore something new. It is a fun experience to try, since as you said, you know how to play the game but don't know the land.

Yes! I started playing Conan Exiles two years ago because of your videos and actually started playing Savage Wilds about a week or two ago. The map is really well made, and there are so many things that just kill you outright if you're not ready - I definitely don't know from experience lol Will definitely enjoy watching this series!

I so love this map, its great fun full of so many places to build I end up with more than one base :) you can fish when you get a fishing spear, different shoals all around the map
This is an excellent modded map, tons to do and explore, you will have a great time. There is a mix of Siptah and Exiles content here, and hidden vast dungeons. You can do spear fishing, I have yet to do that. I'm in the end game on this map and have found most things. Far north is very cold all the time and vast so gear up first. There is a fast travel system around the map find Shima. Enjoy.
Been playing this map a fair bit lately and like you I didnt know a thing. Interesting start but it got stale for me after a few days. Im back on Exiles. Itll be interesting to see how you go.
The savage wilds are indeed savage. You can get the fish from the shoals with the correct stabbing weapon. Also, you may end up needing to adjust thirst rate. It seems to be higher on savage wilds as compared to EL/Siptah.
Look forward to your adventures on this map, I've enjoyed this mod a great deal, loaded with plenty of dangers, especially in the southern Island, where my main base is, cause I like danger lol, plenty of nasty creatures in that area, good for ranking thralls up and good pickings, so let go and dominate tth Savage Wilds Angaar style, cheers💀
Yes, the map here is large .... and what you can see on the map screen is just the start. There are many more (and much larger) dungeons here than in Exiled Land along with several 'hidden' areas of open space.... You are really going to love exploring here and finding all the secrets. Hint - keep your eyes well peeled as this map doesn't hold your hand by having ghost point you to caves and dungeons. The entrances to many are sneakily hidden.....
yes there is fishing with shima's compendium fishing game, you use your throwing javelin.. there are a couple of grade, the more you fish with your javelin and they will give you a better recipe from stone till star metal javelin.. and nope.. those gold and silver coins are standard gold and silver coins like in EL or siptah.. .it's just that they change their appearance recently to make it look a bit nicer.. only bronze is sw own creation...
I was wondering: Anything special about the map and the new chapters ? I really like the SW, and two large MP servers running it just switched back to the exile lands... anything heard ?
Not done much testing on Savage Wilds yet, but the Living Settlement feature has been implemented from the base game. However there is no mention of the Companion quests being added (as there are specific to Exiled Lands map). But they do mention in the patch notes that they introduced cages and jailors to select camps across the map. 🤘😎🤘
Here's my hint (not a spoiler) 1. Head Northwest towards the Barachan Islands 2. Head up the Black River 3. Avoid the Cannibal Coast. I wrote these down because I saw another streamer who navigated right into a pirate galleon and had to walk the plank!
Quick question. Once your thralls hit level 20 and get their upgrade, how does that benefit them? They don't level any further, so I don't understand the level 20 upgrade.

sorry to ask this question but i have all the expansions to Conan how do i get to chose what conan i can play i like to play i have savage wilds bought but cant chose to play that map
@@scorp77snake i went to check out the mod for it to make sure and it dosnt show up to get it the mod i know it looks like a elephant on the cover some reason its not in the mod show for me to get on pc
@@stevehess2426Did you install Pippi? That's the thing that makes other mods run in most cases. You usually need that for any other mods to show up properly.
Your right it was just stone to repair, a few things changed when the age of war update came out, even torches just used to be plant fibre, but now you need either wood or branches to repair, i dont know if its just me or does anyone else know how to make gold coins? Am on exiled lands i can still make silver coins but not gold
@@AngaarUK have sorted it, reset my knowledge points unlocked the coin mold again and now can make gold coins, but was a bit strange that I couldn't even though I had it unlocked before, well that's Conan for you lol 😂
@@MickieD-w7h so if you have subscribed to the mod, you will first have to go to the MOD option on the main menu and ensure Savage Wilds is enabled. Then you start a New game and select Custom, here you will be able to select Savage Wilds as the map from the drop down
