This era of Late Night was PEAK Conan. Loved watching this show everyday. He was always chasing the Tonight Show, seemingly unaware that he'd created something far more special with this.
Agreed. I even had a picture of him on my wall XD I was just ending highschool and I thought he was awesome! Watched him for a long time and still come back to these videos.
@@HOTD108_ they said same lines every night? Same interrupting tea drinking? Same deadspan face before "ok then"?.. why you point out that they made sketches every night if I say that this sketch was good.
For those that don't know, these two did stay together and ended up getting married. They've had 47 children, made a fortune by investing in bitcoin when it was $30 per coin and currently live on a remote island in the middle of the south Pacific ocean where they have started a small business making novelty ornaments out of coconut shells (Just for the love of it as they don't need the money. They're passionate about novelty coconut ornaments). If that isn't true love then I don't know what is...
As a member of the WGA, I can appreciate the new decaffeinated coffee bylaw. Except I haven't paid my Union fees yet, I would have held out for sugar in the tea. Thank you Lucky Alice Denise Lacerenza Joe Wayne can sing very well. I am looking forward to hearing him sing.
Peak 90s American fashion crime. Never wear a shirt that is darker than the suit jacket. In fact, anything other than white, a very light blue, or, if you're feeling adventurous, a very light pink is unacceptable.
Oh boy! Where do I start? This is one of those instances where Conan truly proves his comic genius while simultaneously playing the matchmaker (despite having no credentials in either department, but who cares about credentials when you're Conan O'Brien, right?). I laughed out loud when he demonstrated the changes post the writers' strike - talk about finding humor in every situation! But the real gem of the video is the moment he transforms from talk show host to Cupid, seamlessly setting up the unexpected yet hilarious Valentine's date right in the hallway. I mean, who else could think of this? The surprise celebrity serenade was the icing on the cake - though I'd hate to think what would have happened if the bed had really started vibrating. 😂 What makes this video an absolute treat is how real and spontaneous it feels. Conan's wit, the crowd's laughter, and Grace and Danny's unexpected reactions - it's like watching a slice of life unfold right on your screen, with just the right dash of surrealism that only Conan can bring. It's pure gold. Not your average Valentine's Day, not your average talk show episode. This is peak Conan, folks. You can't help but smile with your heart.
There's a theory around why people from prior decades look older and it has a lot to do with fashion and hairstyles. Essentially we get used to older people now looking like that back then so we associate people from back then as being older than they rlly are
I really notice people and their facial expressions etc so I find it really interesting and cute (for like a better word right now) that @4:56 her eyes moved downward to really size the guy up!!... 🤭
