He's a bloody genius, and we're lucky to have an entertainer of this talent and intelligence. Awesome.

This lives rent free in my head 11 years or so later.

I love the story of how Conan was approached to play Harold Hill in the reawakened version, but couldn't do it due to his schedule.

His hosting the Emmys was a watershed moment in his career. It showed the world that he was ready to take over for Leno and compete at 11:30.

I bet many people said this is a bad idea but Conan did it anyway with awesome result.

I think Conan should have gone with the stronger tribute to Music Man and Preston's performance at the end, with a line similar to "Remember my name my friends, because after this I'll host this show but once [one time!]!"

om a copmedian and i hosted a show at primetome and it was fun im just glad nbc didnt screw me out of it see nbc? a comedian can host a show at primetime just not at nbc. im just sorry my show wasnt televised it was a 3 hr show and i jiked how i was waiting to be screwws just like conan
