Concerns raised about Ukraine peace summit in Switzerland as Russia, China stay away

Resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict will be the focus of a gathering of leaders in Switzerland's Lucerne this weekend. Officials from about 90 states and organisations will be taking part in the peace conference, but organisers said 160 had been invited. Moscow did not get an invitation, while China -- accused by the West of aiding the Russian war effort -- has rejected an invitation. According to reports, Beijing is instead pushing for its own peace plan, which also involves a similar conference, and has Russian support. Megumi Lim reports from Kyiv.
