Concertina bellows leak test with smoke:
(and thighten it with silicone-white spirits mixture)
I use a smoke machine, if you don‘t mind your concertina to smell like a pub in the 90ies, you may use cigarette smoke as well...
This bellows has been made from old brittle leather and therefore had many small leaks as the leather did not smoothly fit.
I tightened it with silicone, thinned with white spirits (Terpentinersatz) until the liquid had a consistency as wallpaint (or yoghurt). I applied inside the bellows two layers. The white spirit will vaporize and the silicone builds a thin airtight layer.
Quick and dirty...otherwise I had to throw away the bellows....maybe I will make a better one...later...at the moment it works quite well!
