I have to say I really like this AI, it's one of the most elegant I've seen. I like Concordia but have always had trouble getting people to play it with me. This might push me into getting it, Thanks for the video!
@@OneStopCoopShop Yeah exactly! When I read the rulebook at first I was kinda confused because I was expecting more a solo deck in the way like the Automa Factory does. But it works so well, it kinda blew my mind when I started playing. Because in a way you decide for both yourself and the AI what the action will be, which really opens up the opportunity for planning ahead quite a lot of turns. It's as if you're truly playing against yourself, which is brilliant in my opinion.
Exactly! Just so unique! And some actions for the ai is automatic, but you don't know what card it will take out what place they so build. I think it's fantastic!!
I've watched other videos of the Solitaria expansion and was left with a 'meh' feeling. Watching your playthrough though leaves me excited to grab a copy for myself! My wallet always weeps when I watch one of your playthroughs 😁
I know the feeling and I agree that it is Colin and his enthusiasm that are the problem. I suspect he could even get me excited to play monopoly 😉 or in other words: thank you for another wonderful playthrough!

Just watched this, as I got Solitaria last week. One small error you made with Tribune. In this version, you count off 4 cards, then the remainder is your cash, not 3 cards.
14:14 to 14:18. Hi Colin. I didn't understand the sentence "they would gain 3 if they had 1, if they had 2 they would gain 4?" What does Contrarius gain? Does he gain 1VP for each of HIS houses OR does he gain 1VP for his houses AND yours? Great playthrough as ever ( this is about my 4th time viewing!)
Thank you for this playthrough! 25:25 Why did the AI spend 2 movements instead of 1 to reach the Salt city? I thought it had to use the shortest path, by the rules.
Hello! When playing with Contrarius as the third player and the player who does not have the Bot decides to use the Diplomat's card, does he have to copy Contrarius' ability or can he also copy the ability of the other human player?
