Concordia is such a sleek polished game and this expansion does make you feel you are playing against a real opponent. I highly recommend this to any Concordia fan.
Thanks for the playthrough, Tom. I played this for the first time about two moths ago. The base game will be a definite for me to buy along with the solitaria!!
Great play through! When placing new colonists, could they have been placed in any city you owned rather than Roma or is that rule different for solitaria? Have a great Christmas, look forward to more plays in 2022
Just have the alphabet be the tie-braker on bot-actions is such a simple, great way. I always hate if you go through a whole bot-flowchart only to end up at 'player's choice'.
I'm so excited for this. I'm truly lucky to live in the U.S. because of the lack of VAT and lots of companies produce lots of games so they're generally less expensive, but sometimes, like NOW, there's something really really cool looking that I want to try asap :-)
I'm new to the game in general and I got absolutely wrecked in my first game against Contrarius. I was just trying to basically get the rules and reaction mechanisms down but he built in 10 out of 11 provinces and had 5 Saturnus cards. Ouch. Without that 50 points, he would have only won by 7. lol
