Concrete Panels being made - fertiliser goes on. 

Me and Roy jet off to sunny wigton to pick up some concrete panels that we broke and what a spot it is, Cumbria concrete products is in a huge redundant RAF hanger at Kirkbride, Ben was so kind to show me round and explained how the hooks and eyes fit into the panels before it’s pored. No I didn’t dare speak to the aero club opposite because I’m a wimp. The compressor breaks and the wheel is coming off the shaft which isn’t good must fix it, Carl comes to spread fertiliser and we look back at third cut bales last year which didn’t really go to plan.

-A quick rundown if you are new to the channel I’m not from farming, Social media started as a casual interest in photography and farming combined I was a very green city girl and had a very excitable view of farming sharing it with my friends from city areas and it has grown from that into youtube and all other associated platforms below.
in 2009 i had no experience of farming or the realities that came with it. That soon changed when I met my other half Roy, I had a job as a carer and in every spare moment threw myself into farming. I had only ever driven a Nissan Micra and had experience with horses, I learnt the hard way as nobody had the time to show me and soon after arriving I found myself mothering on calves to three quarter bred limmy cows. We spent every available moment on the farm between our day jobs. Fast forward to 2016 two children later we moved into our very own farm overlooking the northern Pennines, Laitha.
I am overjoyed to be a farmer. I feel so fortunate every day to wake up and do what I love and even better share it with the world and hope it inspires more young people to spread their wings and think outside the box the world needs more farmers.
