Good for you Katy for recognising your symptoms and having the intelligence to stop and seek help and support. CTE can have such a long term detrimental effect that it just isn’t worth it. I have no doubt every rider in whatever discipline at any level, questions their own abilities and confidence so you are not alone. More importantly, racing isn’t the be all and end all as you have the rest of your life to enjoy wether that be racing, enjoying local single tracks in Finale or just having fun with friends on 2 wheels 🤘❤️🌈🕊️🌎

Concussion sucks; only suffered once after being sparked out after hitting my head hard and waking up on a stretcher being carried out of the woods… At the time I thought I was ok, but looking back I was a complete spaced cadet for a few weeks after, but the week immediately after was bad.

It's very short sighted of the bike industry to pull out of Enduro at a time when viewing figures and participation are the best ever. Discovery Time Warner must take a lot of the criticism for this. Very poor marketing of the product by them. Hope all goes well for the rest of the year.
