My daughter who is currently a minor was ejected from a vehicle and received a concussion and skull fracture and now has seizures. She recently had a MRI and found a lesions on the back of her brain. And this is not all of her terrible injuries. I just spoke with her attorney today and was advise that the cap on the drunk driver's Yes Drunk driver liability insurance is $50,000. And this is all thats available for the medical bills. Can this even be right? What about long term care. How do we recover? Can I get another attorney? Should I take it to trial? The accident occurred in VA, we live in GA
@@evolvinglove7786 Hi, if that's the limit on the insurance policy that is likely the max you will be able to recover unless you have underinsured motorist coverage in excess of that $50k. Getting another lawyer won't do much neither will taking it to trial. Unfortunately. Wish I had better news for you.
I hat a car accident on November 11-2021. I still have severe symptoms. I was at the emergency after i collapsed one night by going to the bathroom. I was laying there 10 hours intthebrightest light and i started feeling worse. They just send me home thats it.

Hi! I am dealing with concussion symptoms since 2/9/2021. Most of my treatments have been with holistic modalities that I paid out of pocket. I also have an ER visit that happened due to the concussion but was not realized till later that it was linked. I submit it to the insurance company for reimbursement and they are asking for codes. Where do I find those codes and how do I find the appropriate codes for the soft shockwave treatment I received to help with eye spasms ?
Hi, sounds like you're talking about ICD 10 Codes. They will be in your medical records. Just search online for ICD Codes. As far as finding a code for soft shockwave tx etc.... I would like in the medical records themselves. And if not, go to an ICD 10 Code website and research there for them.
I've never had that issue before. Odd. Must be a local issue in your state. I would make them prove to me that they have hte right to do that. Show you the law or show you in the contract where it says they can do that.

Morning, so this was a solo vehicle accident? Call your insurance company and file a claim. Hopefully you have coverage for it. In terms of what you should say, I can only advise you to always tell the truth.
Hi - really sorry to hear this. Have you consulted with a local attorney yet? That's what I would suggest you do asap. A local attorney would know best how to manage/handle this matter for you. And of course, also getting the medical care you need to manage the concussion or whatever your diagnosis is.
@@LawFull the great news is that I am feeling quite a bit better every day... I donhave fractured L2-L7 vertebrae who's wings were broken... It's been 5 weeks since accident.... I'm still inflammed and have lots of nerve pain down the leg....any advice.....also at this point should I still be resting or can I start to do pt or light activity at home?
