I permanently lost smell and taste from a crime i was victim of and won the max insurance benefit of 250k. I was on my ebike, he was in a car and went thru a stop sign leading to brain damage and fractured skull and bleeding of the brain. I got the max but feel losing these senses is not worth it. Very informative. I've been denied 3 times (from lawyers) for a previous claim from 2020. I missed a zoom appointment the day after I had surgery (sedated under Oxycodone and other meds) and another zoom scheduled so I thought it was @ 1pm and it turns out it was at 10am. Is it fair for the insurance company to deny my claim.

Hello! Question, so if a settlement can’t be reached then it goes to jury trial for the policy amount, say 25k. But the jury can award more than that, right? Or if not, then what’s the incentive for insurance companies to settle and not go to trial?

My question is though, do you ever have clients that have been fighting a claim for lets say over a year abd they start to get worried about how long itll take to get their life back do you ever tell them that youre close to settling the case even if you have no idea when itlll end? Hi, had a drunk driver hit my vehicle head on collision while i was on my way home. Have torn rotator cuff, labrum tear in other shoulder, bulging discs in neck & it pops when i move it now & with pains every night from sleeping & my shoulder down to pinky go numb when im laying at a certain angle in my back, so far therapy 3x a week, prp in the labrum tear of shoulder & am considering the rotator cuff surgery to fix my weakness in that other shoulder. I also have lower back pain with popping sound, awaiting mri. What is a roundabout number for this case to settle?

Hi there, thanks so much for this video! I have a question. I was T-boned by a distracted driver on 11/23/2022 and my car that is worth around $1,000.00 based on KBB values contained over $4,500.00 worth of damages based on picture estimates. Based on the police report, I was not at fault. Although I have done this before in previous accidents but now realized that it may not have been the best decision, I went straight to the other insurance myself and reported the accident rather than going through my insurance. The other insurance has been cooperative but stated that they cannot get in contact with the person that hit me and notified me that they have to send 3 notices to them and wait 5 business days in between the notices before making a final "liability decision". They informed me that a final liability decision will be made on 12/21 and as of 12/16, they still have not been able to get in contact with the driver. As far as next steps goes, should I wait for their stated "liability decision" on 12/21 or should I be prepared not to receive money and fight this another way? Also, is there a good way of knowing how much I may get since my car isn't worth much but damages were significant? Thanks so much for your advice and help!

What about accidents where no injury was involved? I was recently involved in an accident where a woman hit me head on in a parking lot and who admitted responsibility on the scene. Her insurance company declared my vehicle a total loss (after I took it to their body shop) and wanted to scrap my car and pay me out $2,300, the blue book value. The car was still running fine other than the bumper and I could hardly replace the car with what they were offering. I ended up keeping the car ant taking only $1,700 which wasn’t even enough to repair the damage which I had done. I ended up taking a loss for an accident which wasn’t my fault but I saw no other options.

So my case manager told me that my medical bills turned out to be 39k and the limit is 50k. She said that the first offer was sent and will get back with me this week. So if their policy is only for 25k then thats the ultimate most youre possibly going to get? And what should my attorney be giving me along the process? I have gotten nothing but emails saying they put in a demand letter and to just wait until they hear back,. I havent seen any demand letter or anything.. all i know is a woman lost consciousness and drove into oncoming traffic and broke my back.. lost my job, going to feel the wreck for the rest of my life... but yet ive gotten nothing and its almost been a year since the wreck and 6 months since i stopped getting treatment because of covid.. but i havent heard a word from the attorneys at becker other than telling me to wait.. figure i should be getting things lin the mail about the case but got nothing... shit sucks .. and i had a buddy that was involved in a wreck 3 months after mine and he only broke a foot but he already got a check for 300k$. Yet i get my back broken and have to learn how to walk again along with pain that does not go away and will likely get little to nothing.. was told also that the woman was uninjured and had insurance with a small county firm.. so is underinsured but i had a policy that was over insured and still had to pay out of pocket for hospital and things.. im almost going to have to declare bankruptcy and i had my life finally going somewhere.. lost everything from that wreck.. cant get anything for the pain because theres so many addicts and deadbeats in this world taking it away from people who need it.. was denied disability because my dr notes said i was able to learn how to and regain ability to walk, yet im maybe 60% of what i used to be but drs didnt write that.. fucked my life up.. between people who dont care about anybody but themselves, people who somehow get one over on others, greedy and selfish lazy souls i get screwed when i need it most.. ive paid taxes my entire life, worked since i was 14. Paid for all my schooling and had no debt but the government would rather give drug addicted wastes of space 600$ every 2 weeks plus food stamps but when i pay taxes and own a home they dont care a bit about me unless i just continue to pay taxes so they have the money to keep paying those people.. tired of this world.. you spend 38 years trying to be apart of the community, help everybody you can, work until you hurt then the one time you need something back, just a little help, you get nothing and viewed as nothing or a waste of others time.. but if youre gay, black or rich you get priority and praised... even the people i gave my all to help them all are ghosts when i ask for even a ride to a dr appt so i dont have to suffer for half a day on busses to get there.. plus walking up those bus stairs with a broken back takes a bit yet nobody gives a damn and curse you out for taking so long to get to a seat, even the drivers called me names.. tired of this crap.. somebody pays for a million in coverage but if they gey hit by somebody who has no coverage, guess who has to pay everything no matter what and who gets off with a driving without insurance fine??
