I am honestly really enjoying the little stats sheets at the end of the videos. I know he's been doing them for a while but I just now started to realize how much I like being able to see the statistics after your session with the weapon
Ohhhh Sir D! The reticles change depending on the shit loaded and you can tell if it’s a solar shot or a stasis shot loaded by looking at the icon at the bottom. Drastically changes the way you can play with it. Knowing whether you have a freeze or ignition shot
4:45, so the thing is, the freeze activates on landing enough pellets. But in PvP, landing enough pellets generally kills them, plus there's not enough people nearby for you to notice the freeze. The same goes for the ignition explosion. The perk is considerably more visible in PvE, but its still a fun gun to use in PvP regardless
The Ron raid exotic can only drop potentially once per character per week. It will have a pinnacle on the raid that means it can drop. Do not do what I did and get 15 clears and only 4 of them actually had a chance of dropping it. Which was the only reason I was doing the raid anyway. There are triumphs that can increase the drop chance so I’d recommend doing that or this could take weeks to actually get. Good luck getting this shotty it’s really cool, I just want to grapple and shotgun like doom eternal in this game

Dris when the you have stasis on the gun the gun shoots the pellets in a triangle like the darkness when it’s solar the pellets fire like a circle like the traveler so depending on how far you are and which element it’s on is what activates the perk…ik it’s a lot
Ive been rocking this thing in Iron banana and it shreds through teams on point - The 1 ammo per brick is a lifesaver for me too as the solar imo is so much more consistent and the ignite proc is so useful
idk if you figured out but each shot has a different spread pattern, statis is triangle shaped and solar is circle shaped might be why it felt inconsistent to you at times?

Maybe if you were any closer than 3 to 5 business days worth of distance from an opponent you could proc the freeze or ignition. It seemed like you misunderstood what the Paracausal Pellets description means when you reworded it to "maybe a few". Most of the pellets have to hit the opponent to freeze or ignite, and besides that one lucky moment when it worked, the pellet spread is way too much for that to happen at longer range.
All of my teammates were cursing me when I got it, but then I said I completed all the triumph including the flawless one and they're like: damn I feel sorry for you, you earned it bro
The perk always activates thing is it stasis shatters on kill which is good for stasis warlock and the the ignition is more noticeable since it is an explosion, you probably didn’t notice since it’s after a kill
I got this gun last night. First thing I did was bring it into pvp because it sounded funny. First game had a triple kill because of ignition. Second game I nuked a bubble. It is my new fav exotic and I do not intend to ever take it off
for me this was the weapon that made me go back to using the warlock stasis super! super fun 😂 i've developed a build that i can't wait to bring to the osiris trials🌚 ahh little spoiler kills activate stasis and solar natures ! for example with the sorcerer's stasis, after making a kill, I created the stasis trail that froze nearby enemies.( I leave the recipe here: nature: burst of freezing bolts, glacial impulse / fragments: whisper of the chains, whisper of captivity, whisper of the fragments and whisper of torment)
This thing is a monster on titan in PvP since we don’t have a handling exotic/buff available to us apart from peacekeepers. It’s also a titan counter because it one hits bubble with the stasis shot….
Even though I don't have it yet it seems like this isn't your typical sniping shotgun. This is a good old sawed off. Breath down the enemys neck, shove it where the sun don't shine and pull the trigger.
6:28 i paused it on the damage splat, you hit a 420, it registers as a yellow damage so im thinking possibly a headshot? but why did the damage splat look like you hit the barricade?
Side note, with the stasis shot, the pellets spread in a triangle pattern cause pyramids ig, but with solar shot it forms a circle with pellet spread cause traveler
I have gotten VERY lucky with this shotguns drops. I got it on my 1st and 8th clears. I tend to have decent luck with raid exotics. Which I am grateful for. But this shotgun is exactly what the title says. Its not great but when its good its good. The handling makes it feel great. I hope we get a catalyst for it at some point for just a little more range or even just a large mag size but that kinda ruins the double barrel aspect... but considering they maid TWO-tailed fox shoot 3 rockets.... Anyways its a super destroyer. I was using it the day I got it in control and shutdown 4 supers granted 3 of them were strand hunters... but when you get that stasis shatter kill as a collateral kill ooooh it feels nice. But it is VERY inconsistent as a shotgun. Sometimes you barrel stuff and it doesn't work and other times you map people which is kinda all shotguns right now but this one is very strange.
This gun is made for PC players imo as on console I feel like it's not doing what it's intended to do I also feel like they need to increase the range a bit.
