This is driving me nuts. Driver side Ttop will not stop leaking even though I have done just about everything I can think of to stop it. It's not the gap between the TT rubber and door frame rubber, I have put enough 3M weather stripping compound there to stop any water coming in at those areas. It's not the glass adjustments, I have tried moving the glass numerous times but the water is coming from no where around the points where the glass meets the weather stripping. I have blown out the two drain holes in the valley that the TT rests in, both sound like there is normal flow coming out the bottoms. The water is coming straight down from the inside interior cover which has the latch handle in it. After a rain that whole cover is soaking wet and when it leaks it drips out the front edge of that cover. The rubber that the TT rest on is in very good shape and when putting the TT back on after having it off it seems to seal very tight when engaging the two rod shafts via the handle. So I could really use some input to help solve this from someone who has also had this problem with their Z31 tops. And BTW I tried this grease also with no luck either. Many thanks
Hey I have a 88 z31,I am starting to have problems with it when it doesn't want to stay on after starting, I can feather it to stay on but what would you think the problem is?
Could be a lot of things. Best place to start is always with the ecu to see if it's throwing any codes. Look on XenonZcar.com for a guide on how to check for codes on an 88 model
I actually never set up launch control on mine when I had nistune, but if you email nistune themselves, they're a really great help and can definitely help you get that set up properly. The email to use is info@nistune.com
@@TheZGarage Ah I gotcha. I love the build man, I got a 85 turbo myself on Godspeed coil overs and voxx wheels absolutely love it. I use your car as motivation
