Improve the lake so that the people that are moving here and mowing down our forests have a nice place to swim and fish!

When I lived there lake Apopka was fenced off. It was nasty. That was in the 80's I'm so glad that they are bringing it back to life. But I still feel the best place to swim is rock spring

What type of crazy person would swim in a lake in Florida.

@@glitch612 the springs are the best places to swim in Florida in my opinion better than the coast beaches but yeah the lakes are bad

@@glitch612 My thoughts exactly. Hear there are numerous alligators that inhabit that lake as well as just about any fresh water body. I am sure the shores are home to lots if cotton mouth snakes as well. I’ll stick to my salt water swimming pool while swimming in Florida!

Maybe the criticism of farmers causing damage to the environment is correct, Dutch farmers are being bought out like the farmers that polluted this lake. We need farmers but not at this cost. Destroying rivers and lakes and the ozone, has to be a better way to get our food.

Need more catfish in there to gobble up the extra algae.

Ha ha. Noticed more plants? All the fertilizer drained into this lake is why 75 ft Lily pad islands are floating around sucking up all the waters nutrients.

Not how that works. Excess nutrients in water can cause fish kills and bacterial blooms.
