For people who want to know, here is the approximate weights of the points: 32mm smooth = 0.88g 32mm ring = 0.83g 38mm smooth = 1.07g 38mm ring = 1.03g 42mm smooth = 1.22g 42mm ring = 1.14g

I hit a 180 while the video was uploading, typical that! Still not bad as the throws in the video and the ones I had before the 180 was all I had today, tomorrow back to T1's and T'5's lol! :)

Nice looking points but I wish they did a black version. I'm interested to see what the results are for the point rust experiment... no one has ever gone in such details before. Hopefully Misty won't do anything to ruin the points 😂😂😂 Great insight as always Darren! Happy darting! 👍👍👍

Would dipping points in copper sulphate to turn them rusty improve their grip in the board? One for those that got further than I did with GCSE science.

Rusty points are the bane of my darting life cause my room that I practice in turns everything metal to rust. So I was excited to see these coming out.

Great! I am impressed with how long they stay sharp so far, even after hitting wires and the floor the very tips of the points look as new!

@@DartsReviewChannel sounds great. Are they easy to pull out of the board? I played the mission sniper on another dart. Great tips, no question about it, and of course the texture is completely different to this one. Sometimes they were stuck so tightly in the board that I felt like I had to support myself on the board with my feet to pull them out. I found that annoying at times, especially at tournaments.

@@DartsReviewChannel True. Although I have had barrels that I repointed that literally have only gone in a couple of mil and have barrels that have at least 6 or 7mm of point inside them .

As much as I like having options I have the feeling with everybody coming up with the same stuff basically at a decent average quality I'd have to test it all to find out what's exactly for me. I get the idea here with the new ruleset as a selling point, but with a repointer yet to receive for Christmas I'd prefer a situation where I could compare the two best tips and that's it. I only own one set of Swiss Point darts so far, but my main collection isn't Target, so enough reason to go back and switch the old points. I'm tempted to go for Storm Points anyway or something with grip on the shoulders if there are any.

I had issues with Harrows Darts and repointing a couple of times now! I pretty sure Harrows have a slightly bigger diameter for the Point! I actually don’t buy Harrows anymore because of that. Never had a problem with any other brand darts and points not holding up after repointing.

I have had a similar experience with various harrows barrels. I loved the recent atlantis' but the points are too short & no replacements would stay in. Super frustrating.

Quite honestly, if you’re going to use expensive moulded flights and you want to get your money’s worth out of them, you have to (100%) install specialty points with a fluted base that eliminates that lip where the point meats the barrel; that lip will destroy your flights and make the last 10 times LESS than they would if you had installed specialty points with the fluted base (think Target Storm or Mission Sniper) I think it is a bit ironic (or maybe deliberate to boost flight sales) that Condor only offers these points without the fluted base. I definitely won’t be buying them; I want my moulded flights to last.

As I have said often, eliminating the lip will help but its not going to be very helpful for people that like that little lip or ledge in some cases to rest their finger against, wont help people who like a flat bull nose and if they are using aggressive grip barrels then the flights will still get knackerd :)

May be true, may be true…all I know is ever since I started using fluted specialty points, my expensive flight (Axe, K-Flex) have lasted MONTHS versus my other moulded flights I used before I switched to fluted points lasted 2 weeks? Maybe before getting so chewed up on the flight itself that they started splitting

@@Klausmaus5869 yes it helps, I showed with the Condor Axe I reviewed, used Apex points and they were are still going strong after 2 years. My point is its not guaranteed to work as amazingly well for everyone depending on what they throw like and what darts they use.

I did some weight check on micro weight balance the average is 1.0064g with 0.001 gram difference. Compare with CD Mk2 38mm is 1.0169g with 0.01 gram difference. about 0.01grame (1%) diffenence.
