This was the exact video today for tomahawk review and lesson. Good work. Everything you said made sense. It's good to know there's people out there with the same mind set.
The tomahawk is an excellent piece of kit. I like that tomahawk a lot. Still have the first tomahawk I bought in 1987. I have a few of the Cold Steel hawks. My favorite is a SOG Voodoo Mini head that I attached to the longer SOG Tactical Tomahawk handle. My urban bag has a CRKT Kangee.
It’s one of my favorites my friend I’m not saying it’s the best one on the market or anything like that just that it’s always done me right and has held up extremely well for what I use it for I’ve never personally used a Walter but have herd a lot of good things on them
@@bearcurtis9133 Hi Bear ! Cool i got for my Indian stuff in the woods the ,, Pipe Tomahawk" from Cold Steel and i love it.It feels like the old days of,, GERONIMO ,, if you worked with :) .Greetings from the Bavarian Mountain. Elmar
Good review 👍 I'm looking to get a tomahawk so now I've added this to my list of ones to choose from , but there's so many 😆 which brand would you recommend cold steel , crtk, condor etc ? Many thanks .
Guess it depends on what the purpose is gonna be for it. If just camping and cutting wood and branches and stuff Crkt and all of them make good hawks as for hunting/trapline use I believe condor makes some of the best for that purpose but that’s personal opinion
@@bearcurtis9133 Thank you for your swift reply I'm leaning towards the crtk chogan. Wish you all the best in the future and with your house situation 👍
I feel too many people expect every tool to be the ultimate survival implement , but there is no such thing. I have a few items in my collection that would work just fine for self defense and that's their only purpose. Not to say that the rat tail tang stuff can't be used so long as you know how not to push beyond it's limits.
I agree with that a lot of ppl are looking for that all in one tool but there isn’t one but there is many multi functional tools like tomahawks and certain bushcraft and survival knives really all depends on preference too that’s why I always say “my opinion” not everyone might see it the same
