Unfortunately, only one of the shells will get the frozen damage bonus since it'll heat the dread for the rest of them. But on the bright side you get to freeze dreads for only one grenade at least.

I feel like you should've been getting phase skips with this? Wondering if maybe it doesn't work on boomstick because only some of the shells deal damage before invulnerability kicks in. Anyway yeah conductive thermals continues to be silly, lol. Was playing crystal nucleation driller with a scout running it on escort, and during the heartstone fight a bulk detonator spawned in. I got in range to start freezing it, and in the course of about 3-4 seconds it froze, unfroze, froze again and died while frozen from nearly full health. And this was in haz 5+ with 4 players (all modifiers _except for_ tougher enemies)
Except for the detail that dreads are so insanely resistant to heat that you literally need Conductive Thermals for them to catch fire in the first place. In a group scenario this definitely is true, but for solo Scout games, Jumbo Shells boomstick is absolutely the best choice to take for easy mode elims
Right the problem with the Hiveguards sentinels are always spawning outside where you’re at instead in. Guessing the games spawn mechanic if there’s not available spawning spot needed it will instead spawn’em outside. Like this shit is more annoying than you think, other than it’s a good quick breathe to get ammo or health in the room then back to killing.
Conductive is much easier to use and lasts as long as you keep shooting and for a while after. MFD is only a 55% damage increase and lasts 4 seconds. You could cryo the dread in oneshot I'm not sure what it would do to the damage via fire jumbo but I assume it would just go POP and die
Yeah the most common ability pilots use is the grapple hook, and scout the class he is playing has one that works almost exactly the same. Leading both to have a similar play style of not staying in one position for long.
me and a couple of guys did base haz 5 with 4 player scaling. With CT, Armor Break, MFD, and IFG, I was able to two shot both twins with flamethrower scorching wave oc. Which is reasonable.

conductive thermals itself does way less than reasonable damage, averaging out with the unreasonable damage of everything else to reach reasonable damage on average
Haz 5+2 health bugs in solo scaling means the dread is still like 30-40% of a normal haz 5 dreadnought. You wanna see actual damage? Try breach cutter engie + this build in 4 player scaling
the fact that this overclock has no threshold limit to the debuff stacks is a bit OP. But on the other side, who cares 🤷♂️ Even if they make it so it can only apply 20 stacks it would be a 100% dmg increase and Breachcutter melts them even more with this. Joined a Haz 5 Game were the host was running breach with I think SPC. Does the Breach deal Fire Dmg or do I go crazy? Even if it wasn't SPC you could still run Inferno or HVC on it for the elemental dmg. Anyway, fastest Kills I ever seen. The basic Dread couldn't even attack once. We just bullied him😂
@@cinex20 Then it works as intended and I see no reason why they should change it in any way. Thx, mate I didn't know that Breach does 50/50 Fire/Electric. Was always under the assumption it does disintegration dmg.
