Interesting concept but we need to test it using blood glucose monitor to see how much our BG spikes after the meals :)

i am a type 1 diabetic, i had to use the same amount of insulin for this rice as the normal rice, however, i felt that i digest this one faster and dont feel so "full"

@@BeowulfGaming So you're saying that it didn't do anything to reduce the carb content? Because I'm not familiar with Diabeties but I believe Rice doesn't have sugar in it, just carb, so it lowers the amount of carbs, if it does what it claims it does at least.

@@HashtagGamingVideos yep, i dont believe you can remove the carbs from a product such as rice or potatoes, by a significant amount, the glucose with same serving spikes around the same as the carb intake is also the same more or less, it might fluctuate a bit but thats marketing, however, it is easier to digest, therefore, possibly faster metabolized then complex carbohydrates that slowly ramp up and then fall of much later than fast sugar (i.e. fruit etc) I always like to test stuff that advertize as "sugar free" or "less sugar" etc since i actually have means to see it real time as a T1D

Rice and table sugar are CARBOHYDRATES. The type of carbohydrate found in rice is GLUCOSE which is a complex carbohydrate while the type in sugar is SUCROSE which is a simple carbohydrate. Diabetes is metabolic disease where the body does not produce enough insulin.

Sa mga katulad kong walang pambili ng mga ganyan, siguro pwede na yung steamer? Lagyan lang ng cheese cloth siguro yung mismong steamer para di mahulong ang mga grain, parang ganun yung nakikita kong concept sa mga low carb/sugar rice cooker e. 😆

Hi! Thanks for this. Water should be 3mm high above the rice? I bought one in lazada chinese brand. The manual is in chinese that’s why it is hard to translate.

Yes. If your cooker came in with a cup, double the amount of water vs the cups of uncooked rice that you have used.

I really don't know how to answer your question kase ang alam ko kapag low carb dapat under 15grams of carbs lang ang intake nyo. If you eat low carb rice using this rice cooker it reduces the carbs by 37% which is still more than 15grams of carbs.

so regardless kung kahit ilang cups of rice, be it regular white rice, brown rice, black rice, isang cooking time lang? di ba iba't ibang klase ng rice meron kanya kayang cooking time?

@@allanis_the_great regardless .. because your rice won't be boiled with the water that you put. It will cook via distillation process. If you watched the video, I mentioned that the procedure goes mapa-anong type of rice pa yan.

Hello! kamusta naman po ang lasa ng rice? Carbs lang po ba nababawas? how about yung sugar or calories walang bawas?

Tastes like normal rice. If you cut down the carbs, you cut down the sugar as well. The lesser percentage of carbohydrates is because the rice is cooked thru a desugaring process via distillation. You can visit their FB page: Concepstore to know more.

Red/brown/black rice has less starch/sugar already, the starch removal might end up losing some its nutrients too...
