Coneheads Deleted Scene - Remulak Landing Port and Restaurant 

I really like this scene... it further emphasizes how Beldar and his wife grew to love life on Earth and would prefer to stay there rather than on Remulak. It adds some reasoning behind Beldar's wish to return to Earth to "conquor" it after he gnarfles the garthak.

Beldar had spent so much time on earth he had become more humanlike then he realized. Earth was alot more interesting then his home planet.

This scene should be part of a Blu-Ray directors cut. It also explains why Beldar had to present the items from his car as gifts.

I wish they kept this scene in - it explains why Beldar had so few gifts to offer the High Master...turns out he never thought of bringing gifts

Wow.. why would such an important scene be cut out? This provides a story bridge for the next scene with the king. It also shows that the 2 aliens beside Connie in the arena are actually their relatives!

That was such a good movie I wish they had made a sequel.

They should have included all these deleted scenes on a DVD! They always include them on its TV showing

The removal of this scene from the full movie made Beldar's decision at the end to abandon remulak and go back to earth permanently seem completely out of left field since just a few scenes earlier he was demanding Connie return to her home world, this scene shows him realizing that Remulak may be more advanced than earth in it's technology but not in it's social norms or ways of thinking, mostly when he shuts down the idea that humans are brutes who fuck like rabbits so they can eat their firstborns

It's a shame seeing that awesome matte painting of the planet in the beginning go to waste!

I could have sworn I saw this clip when the movie aired on TV in the 90’s.

Beldar and his wife always wanted to go back to Remulak when they finally did they realized how primitive their planet is compared to Earth why Beldar after defeating the Garthak he took his family back to earth and pretend to blow up in the star cruiser.

I love this film

Another thing to consider when Beldar and Prymaat are uncomfortable with the jokes Marlax and Laarta make about Earth is them considering how Connie was raised on Earth. She's as much a product of her parents raising her as she is being raised among humans, having only really known and participated in their culture and values. The Coneheads have shown how proud they are of their daughter because she's a smart, talented, and honest young woman whom others adore. She got that way thanks to her loving parents and the world she grew up in. To mock Earth is to mock what helped make Connie who she is.

Beldar almost said "husband" instead of "geneto-mate"

The joke Phil Hartman tells Dan Aykroyd is essentially this: How do you stop a dog from humping your leg? You pick him up blow him.

I miss Phil Hartman.

I really didn’t see the point of cutting this scene out. This scene actually is a part of what makes the whole movie what it is really from the cone heads to humans.

I remember they showed this scene when they aired this movie on NBC

I really liked this movie and remember seeing additional scenes when shown on TV. Now this! I’m been hoping for years that they would come out with a DVD with all the scenes added in.

Weird...I've seen 'Coneheads' several times on television, and yet have never seen this. Guess the network decides whether or not to show it depending on how much time they have to fit the movie in.

How is this a deleted scene if it was on tv? Doesn't tv get the release after the movie has released on dvd? Or back then dvd and vhs
