Coney Island (Cincinnati, OH) 2015 

They screwed up by removing the rides I will never go there again I’ve had too many memories here

Thanks for the video. I went to Coney every summer when I was a child and now take my Grandchildren there. They love it. Have tickets for a trip soon. I have always wanted to swim in the pool and this time we are taking in the water park. Can't wait.

This was a nice video. I grew up in Cincinnati and remember when Coney Island had the Shooting Star roller coaster. It was the first coaster I ever road and scared me to death when I was a kid. The Racer coaster at Kings Island was patterned after the Shooting Star. I also remember the Lost River. You were basically in a row boat going through a dark watery maze and then pulled up a lift hill and suddenly over and nearly straight down. I don't even remember any seat belts on that ride. I'm glad Coney Island has new life and owners are taking care of it. It was a big treat to go there when I was young and I was saddened when it closed. Kings Island is a great park but has never felt like Coney Island did.

I've never been here and until now knew it even existed anymore. I might have to just visit it and give it support. plus there's a few rides I've haven't been on yet.

I honestly don't know how well Coney Island does (I know the pool they have is very successful), but I just feel bad for it. I mean, just 30 minutes down the road is an amusement park five times the size with 14 huge roller coasters, giant thrill rides, etc...I really do wonder how well they do on the rides side of the park.

I go here every fall and I have rode every ride except that spinny one. Idk what it is called. I will check this fall. Or summer.

I'm going here tomorrow with my friend, we live nearly 14 hours away but I think it will be great. I've been there before but they did not have the one after the spinning around one but I'm totally going to ride it.

to me it was alright most of the rides my daughter could not ride she was just a bit tall. and it was fun riding the flying bobs. but i was not sure if it was going to stay together and maintenance was working on a few rides has well.

I bet that the Water Park was much more popular, but honestly, outside of the SbV Spinning ride, there wasn’t much there ride wise that wasn’t carnival like. Had they invested in a Wooden Coaster, it would have made the rides side more attractive, much like how Quassy has the Wooden Warrior. Besides, once the sun sets, people head to the rides and to eat etc. what a shame considering the history here!

So sad to hear they're shutting down this section of Coney Island
