Confession | Mob Psycho S3 Ep 12 Reaction [Series Finale] 

I love that Dimple started by trying to get Mob to laugh in the LOL Cult. And the end of the show had Mob laughing.

"They gave Reigen budget?" Dude have you been seeing how Bones animates him? He's literally their golden child

That ending made me smile so much that i forgot it was the ENDING ending, now I’m sad.

When in the end Reigen says "I have no psychic powers, I never did" it hits even harder knowing that the strongest espers in the entire world tried to stop mob failing miserably, yet Reigen with only the sheer strength of his love for mob was able to reach him both metaphorically and physically. Reigen felt guilty the entire time because he thought that he was supposed to train Mob to be a good psychic, but in reality he taught him how to be a good person until the very end and succeeded. What is even more ironic is how much an anime about psychic powers ultimately returns to its mantra revealing that it was all along about normal human beings. "If everyone is not special. Maybe you can be what you want to be"

I liked Dimple's line in the manga more, and it kind of explained his return a bit better. He says, "Shigeo, you kept me in your heart, and somehow, that stopped me from disappearing, thanks to the power of your belief." Idk if it's a translation difference or if the line of dialogue in the anime is legitimately different, but the power of Mob's belief that his friend is still alive makes a lot more sense to me than the vague line we got in the anime, since the series establishes that Dimple is literally powered by faith.

This show literally taught middle school me how to be a respectful person and how to respect myself. Mob, you will be missed.

One aspect I really love about Reigen's big run is that he is going against his philosophy of how it's okay to run away when things go south. also, fun fact reigens English VA cosplayed as him for his finale recording session

I like how this title makes us believe it will be the love confession while that part wasnt even shown, and in reality it was a Confession from someone we did not expect to ever do it

Easily one of the best *coming of age* stories in anime. Not often to have such a great anime as a relatively shorter series (37 episodes total), have such great consistency with story telling, character development, animation, and a very conclusive ending that feels satisfying.

Last year the only one who celebrated Reigen's birthday was mob, this year through Reigen's constant support to the people around him he had culminated so many close people. That's why Reigen nearly cries (and probably was going to cry)

I just love how no matter what mob throws at Reigen, he's still fully determined to reach mob and doesn't give up at any point. It just shows how much mob means to Reigen and kinda makes me tear up a little.

I think Mob always knew Reigen had no powers but it hits very different hearing Reigen say it. Everybody wears mask and to see someone, especially someone you look up, to take that mask off and show themselves to you is very power

The one thing with Teru and the wind was that in the past, Teru used to have to wear a lot of overcompensating wigs to hide his baldness because Mob somehow always cut off his hair accidentally. So when the wind blew by the girls and Ritsu felt it, he was worried that Teru's hair was going to potentially fly away and when he turned around he thought he would see Teru clutching his wig for dear life, but it was the opposite. Rather, Teru is more secure with himself now due to the influence of Mob, and the fact that he didn't hold onto his hair due to the wind (out of habit) shows that he evolved and grew, whether his current hair is a wig or not (we may never know).

i love how when mob actually shows emotion they give him a bunch of frames showing he is allowing himself to be expressive/emotive without the whole 100% blow-up like they have shown us in the past.

What a perfect way to end the series. Mob Psycho 100 is PEAK FICTION

I'm fine with Dimple coming back to life. Since it was explained by in universe logic. I just wish the scene had a bit more time to it, cause it was like "Dimples back. Anyway-."

I like how Tsubomi and Mob have been talking more at the end of the series. Even if she didn’t see him in that way at the time, it seems like they’ve at least rekindled their childhood friendship and that might turn into something down the line. The way I saw it, she just hasn’t been considering a relationship with anyone.

I can’t believe it’s over, but we’ve come a long way being able to experience such an amazing journey from beginning to end. Mob Psycho is truly one of the best animes out there, so thank you ONE for creating greatness and Studio Bones for animating it !! I’m gonna miss this anime and the characters so much, especially Mob, Reigen, Dimple, Ritsu, Serizawa and Hanazawa🥺😭

They wrapped up the series perfectly...Mob got me emotional man...

The Dimple bit goes back to the Dragger and even the Broccoli tree where beliefs can give form and the stronger the belief the more powerful the being. Mob, being as strong of a psychic he is, was able to prevent Dimple from being fully destroyed and the tornado Mob was creating pulled him in. So although yes it's a convenient plot twist there were at least some examples from previous episodes for the explanation of Dimple coming back having some weight.

I know its a common take now but Reigen really deserves all the hype he gets hes such an amazing character and such a perfect play-off for Mob

it's rare we get to see such a show that feels as complete as this

The ending was just soooo good. Easily one of my favorite animes and probably one of the most underrated. The last panel of Mob genuinely laughing for the first time ever hit me in my feels too hard...and now I'm running out of tissue paper 😭

I just love the ending, it's not only the part of Mob finally laughing and showing his emotions, it's also the contrast of Reigen's birthday in this season compared to the one in the 2nd season. He always felt alone and hated pretty much everything about him and Mob was the only who celebrated his birthday, but now in this season and show finale he fully accepted himself and was surrounded by so many people, all of them are celebrating his birthday. It's a perfect closure for both of the main characters. I'm really gonna miss them!

Dimple's reveal behind Reigen give me chills behind my back holy crap!

Not gon lie, I shed a tear when I realized they were throwing Reigen a surprise party. I ain't forget the saddness of that Season 2 episode when he spent his birthday unhappy and alone physically and mentally.

Everything about this series was amazing. Thank you ONE, Yuzuru Tachikawa, Takahiro Hasui, and everyone else from Bones for this incredible experience.

I find it funny how One-sensei (mangaka) talked about how easy drawing Mob laughing came to him (he was planning to end the series with this all along), while Secchan (Mob's seiyuu), on the other hand, had trouble recording that laughter as it's not his strong suit. Ritsu's seiyuu, Irino-san, actually stayed behind in the booth with him to give pointers and help with that :")

In a world where no manga author knows how to end their story (dragonball didn't end, naruto didn't end, bleach, aot and countless others) One has blessed us with the rare actually good endings

I hope the Reigen spin-off single-volume manga will get adapted as like a OVA/special, besides being a nice coda to the series, it's also a great story focusing on Reigen and Tome Kurata.

Dimple never died. He flew with the broccoli into space. I've always expected him to come back at one point.

That ending shot with mob genuinely laughing felt filling and like a complete ending to his character arc. I am so very satisfied with this being the ending of this story. Very rarely is that the case in anime. A lot of time we get rushed or even no endings when it comes to anime. Bones put that heart & soul into Mob. I'm gonna rematch it all but this is most definitely in my top 5.

Reigan can't die if he cons his body into thinking it's still alive.

Wholesome episode heartwarming ending, epic fight seeing dimple back was one the best thing that happened this episode

Mob made a psychic tornado so powerful it managed to drag back Dimple all the way from outer space, this just shows how powerful his true form is while also showing that even in that disrupted form he still wished for Dimple to come back. Reigen was the true MVP, he bested every single esper in the world by sheer determination and love for Mob and even managed to tell the whole truth, his character development was just as good as Mob's. I'm gonna miss this anime, but i'm very happy it ended in such a good way.

Bringing dimple back was 100% the right choice this ending wouldn't hit as hard with the tears of joy if he wasn't

It hit he really hard when mob actually let himslef out and cried and laughed at the end.

Nice way to come full circle, a boy who never showed emotions, is able to laugh freely without care.

Thats right everyone shigeo himself was the final boss of the anime who can only be stopped by reigen telling the truth. This anime was beautiful.

Remember if the character doesn’t die on screen they’re not dead so it makes sense that Dimple is still alive even when they gave him a send off. I think the send off represented that Dimple finally understood how Mob felt about his powers rather than being obsessed with them

For those who complained about Dimple's return...YEAH, there are people who complain about this stuff mainly on myanimelist, the hideout of clown. Before complaining about dimple coming back, remember that in episode S1x3 mob killed him and yet he returned back After 2 episodes, in episode 5, Teru killed dimple, and he still returned back. It's not random, it already happened

One of the themes of the God Dimple arc was how believing in something hard enough will make it real, Mob was always internally waiting and hoping for Dimple to eventually return and that sincere hope alone was able to keep a smidget of Dimple's essence alive in outer space. Mix that with the enormous output of energy released by Mob during his rampage and that was able to feed that smidget of Dimple that remained enough for him to manifest (although not fully) and go towards Shigeo and Reigen.

I love that Dimple comes back since this is a show where everyone gets a second chance and happy ending

I love how both Reigen and Mob got their respective arcs wrapped up. If you remember from last season Reigen being alone on his bday(partially because of his lies)

Reigen was the only one who acknowledged Mob's other side (his powers) and put it to use since Mob would just lock him away. What the psycho mob didn't expect was reigen being honest and thankful for him

Remember how Mob can fix things with his powers? Pretty sure that’s how the city got fixed quick. Just like he did with Teru’s school. Since now he accepted his other self, it should be even easier now since he has his full might at his disposal.

My favorite part about Mob laughing at the end is that that's kind of where we kicked off his journey, the first explosion was caused by dimple trying to make him laugh.

Mob psycho 100 is such a goddamn gem of a series. Seeing Mob finally laughing and letting his emotions flow was a perfect end. This show just makes you FEEL good and happy. One blew it out of the park

Ok so thing about mob. He was never bottling up his emotions because he literally didn't have any. He's the emotionless split personality. Every time he felt an emotion or went 100% that was the other mob.

Mob learning to accept his emotions, and who he is what this show is about. So his alter ego, being the final antagonist is so symbolic. Especially since he’s pretty much been the strongest character since the start of the show. Him growing emotionally was his power ups. Sometimes with dissociative identity Disorder a alter ego or another personality can be form to cope with the trauma. This show does an excellent job using real world psychology and mental health disorders from the DSM.

ONE is a fantastic writer and his versatility as one is out of this world. He does great parodying many clichés in anime with One Punch Man. The story that initially got his work out there. While at the same time adding serious elements that build tension, suspense, fear, excitement, and many more. He is also clearly more than capable of building an in-depth story with various life lessons and balancing dialogue with action. Mob Psycho 100 is proof of this. He meant for this story to be one of his most elaborate works. One that would have a long-lasting effect on viewers and readers. Looks to me like he achieved just what he wanted with this beautifully made story. Props to the entire team at Studio Bones, without them bringing this story to life would have been impossible. They did a terrific job with the entire anime.

This finale had a lot of things that were great! How the Inner Mob didn't want to listen to Reigen, like he knew Reigen would be able to convince him to stop. How Tsubomi rejected Mob instead of going out with him like what would be expected in a show like this. How after Mob connected with his inner self he was okay with showing his feelings again. I could go on but I'd probably leave stuff out that other people noticed so I'd rather let them say instead! All in all, a great finale to a great show! PS. Reigen will always be the GOAT!

That ending honestly made me tear up, Reigen finally telling the truth after all these seasons and seeing mob show emotion after never seeing it just rly hit me differently, this show also teaches a lot about trauma and holding in emotions just so beautiful tbh such a happy ending

I still can’t believe this is really the Ending of Mob Psycho, I feel empty inside that I won’t see another season of Mob. What a journey

i actually like dimple coming back because i think it highlights how much he and mob care about each other. the way dimple said it, mob wanted him back so bad, dimple managed to not get destroyed. all he says about coming back though is that he was drawn into the spiral of power, which doesn’t mean much on it’s own, yet this whole arc has been showing us how damn violent that spiral really is. then you get to the psycho helmet arc with dimples death, but the point of that wasn’t that dimple was dying, it was to show how much dimple actually loved mob, like you said. plus we very much know his trek back wasnt easy, with the tornado being shown sucking up every bit of psychic energy (which is also why it’s cool a non psychic broke him out of it). and the much more on the nose line “i’m literally giving it my all just to exist” since he’s kind of nothing but a ball of psychic energy dimple really struggled to get back to mob. he lived because mob really wanted him back and he managed to come back because he really wanted to be with mob. i think it’s nice

Remember watching this show freshman year of college I’ve since graduated and become a man. What a marvelous story about self acceptance. Reigen is truly a Top 5 Anime sensei of all time

Actually making dimple the only person that was able to stop mob makes sense since he was the only one that Mob’s powers accepted after the broccoli arc. Out of everyone in this show, Dimple was the only one that accepted and fully respected Mob’s powers and also called Mob by his real name (Shigeo) which is what Mob’s powers referred to himself as.

Honestly. I really love how y’all discuss things after. The fact that there was a 5 minute interval between the end of the reaction vs the end of the video. *chefs kiss* I think the Dimple thing, Mob loved Dimple so much, and had an unconscious desire to have Dimple there. They even left him vs Broccolini open ended. So him and Dimple both getting there development is important. Plus it’s a payoff for how far dimple and Mob have come, and Reuben and mob.

Thank you for the journey, Mob, you were an underrated masterpiece series.

Mob Psycho 100 gave me a lesson I wished I learned sooner. It is truly a masterpiece that will always has a special place in my heart. The show has made me tear up a bit once or twice in the past, but I don't remember the last time a show made me as legitimately emotional on a deep level like that scene with Reigen and Mob did. There were just so many emotions in that scene it was overwhelming.

This show got me in my feels I had no idea this was the last episode- I thought mogami was gonna show up to confront mob too but this ending was so great the whole show was so amazing

This is hands down my favorite anime of all time

People really forgot that Mob destroyed a school and reconstructed it in the same minute. He can surely reconstruct a city with help.

I like how this isn't a fight, but consider ing Reigen's character for me it is. It's a fight to pull his friend back in. Probably Reigen’s most epic moment in the series. And he didn’t even have Mob’s powers this time.

I kinda accept Dimple back because a lot of times is the people's fears and feelings creates evil spirits; he also has survived against angry Mob, Teru, the jar of spirits, Mogami, the Boss. But it would have liked to see Mob, or Reigen react to him.

I still can't believe it's over, but by god was that ending just the best with how wholesome and pure it was showing that not just Mob but Reigen as well are in much better place in their lives thanks to each other. 10/10 anime no doubt about it.

Even the tsubomi rejection wasn't bad, because he hadn't talked to her in years. Now they're much closer and talk everyday so he's one step closer

I'm both incredibly glad that this amazing series was able to get the finale it deserved after such a long wait and sad now that it's concluded. This show was something else

Mob is a great coming of age story, it being about him learning to accept himself was awesome

I read the manga years ago, so I've been waiting for this episode for soooooo long. Oh boy, did they deliver! It hit even better than the manga version did. Legit a perfect ending.

I really love the little detail on how Reigen protects the back of his head whenever he gets thrown away. Also playing the 1st OP is fire af!

i like that they brought dimple back because i feel sooner or later mob seems like he’ll be moving on from the job he has with raigen after highschool or whatever. and atleast if mob does leave, raigen would have help with psychic situations from dimple and Serizawa.

I love dimple, but I felt that too. His goodbye was sooo good. I think I would like more if in the end Mob said to the trauma: Since I cant get into you, I trust that he will. And then give him a little power to hold the conversation. But amazing show overall, that I gonna miss a lot
