Why I watch your videos: 1) you’re not dramatic or loud or over enthusiastic, but you’re not plain or boring or monotone. You’re the perfect balance so it’s like chillin with a friend 2) you get really in depth in the reasons why you love or hate a product, and I feel like you’re fair in your judgements 3) you seem like you’re incredibly patient and kind to your fans, your family and anyone you encounter- you shine with “goodness” 4) you produce some well thought out videos - you have over time created beautiful spaces and lighting in which to record your content and it makes me feel peaceful 5) you’re incredibly professional without it seeming too clinical- perfect amounts of banter and seriousness in every vid 6) the actual content itself (eg: WTF, OMG GRWM etc) is regularly posted and littered with interesting products and conversation 7) your tutorials are insanely helpful and easy to follow and they often vary from natural to dramatic to colourful 8) you don’t show off about what you have or what you own- any part of your well earned and luxurious life you share with us is on a need to know basis and you always seem humble 9) you’re inspiring and an excellent example of not needing to show off your whole body to feel confident in yourself- you’re not just family friendly because you don’t swear or show your boobies, you’re a great role model for all girls boys men women and others 10) you’re beautiful! All these reasons and I don’t even wear makeup! ♥️

I watch your videos for multiple reasons: #1. Your voice is super soothing. I have really, really bad anxiety and your voice brings me down. #2. Your passion for makeup. #3. Your sense of humor makes me laugh. #4. Your relationship with James is goals and makes me smile. 🙂

I started watching 3-4 years ago because honestly I was in a REALLY dark place. I just got over the worst breakup, my friends were moving on it life and I was stuck at home caring for my parents - who didn’t really care for me. I came across your channel because makeup videos chill me out, and since then you’ve been this big sister figure to me 💕💜 my outlook on life totally changed and now I’m a lot more determined to get what I want out of life instead of giving others what they want me to do.

Hey Tati. I just recived a new delivery of Halo. It has done wonders so far, so I am really upset I will no longer be ordering it. The price for this delivery of 3 month worth got to roughly 225 usd, with shipping, tax, and costum. When ordering one pack, there is no custom but the shipping is so high it still doesn't make any sense... Please please PLEASE make shipping rates lower, ship with DHL or maybe with Amazon? I wouldn't mind waiting longer for the delivery as long as it doesn't cost double! Please!

What people need to learn is not to ask about someone having children all the time. This can and often is a very sensitive topic for people so unless a person starts to talk about it themselves please just don't ask, ok? I know some people who desperately want a baby but can't have any and can't afford to adopt etc. or they lost a child and it hurts me when their wounds are ripped open time and time again by insensitive people. Also some people just don't want to have children and that is ok too!

I smoked for 38 years.....don't judge, lol. Now, I can smell a smoker from across a room, and I always think "I smelled like that? Disgusting." I remember within 2 weeks of stopping, I had to wash EVERYTHING, all sheets and blankets, towels, and clothes. It was a 2 week project. I never want to do it again.

Here is why I watch your channel . I am very attracted by luxury . I like expensive things that I cannot buy , and definitely makeup is on top of the list . But here's the catch : I always feel bad about not being able to buy those things . When I watch other boujie people projecting their wealth and all the things that they own , I get jealous and I wish I had what they have . However , what makes you different ,is that you inspire me . Not only because you built yourself up to where you are , not only because you're honest and won't kiss anyone's ass to be on their side and make money , but because I feel like we re friends . Because I feel like my economic status doesn't mean that I can't have awesome makeup . You're sooo genuine with what you're doing that ,instead of being jealous of what you have I admire you . Tati that last question made me feel a lot better about my life. I'm only 21 but my college years are really trying me and half the time I feel like I'm going in the wrong direction, but you're right. I can do it. So peep me in ten years working in a cosmetics lab making skincare. Instead of playing around with benzaldehydes and the leuckart reaction, I can be formulating skincare ingredients and even coming up with synthetic ways to make more vegan ingredients.

why i love tati and her videos: my mother passed away July 31st 2016, due to jaundice. i had to move from my hometown, trying to escape massive PTSD, and ended up in a country town with zero family or friends. I turned to makeup to distract me from all the stress and pain, but doing your makeup alone isnt very fun. i had decided to go to therapy, and when i came home one day, i realized that the calming sound of their voice was something that helped. when most people go to a therapist, the biggest thing is being comfortable. Nonjudgemental. I decided to open RU-vid and find someone I could listen to that made me comfortable but also distracted me and let me have fun because I was so alone. I found some great other youtubers, one being Drugstore Maven, who no longer uploads, and SHE ALSO HAS A CALMING VOICE!!! Ive said it before, but she is like a teenage version of you. Ever since that therapy session, I have been jumping into makeup, and been watching you specifically, and now I can finally feel loved and just not alone, even if I am alone physically. i loved your saying that you shared; my favorite from my therapist is "words are vessels used to describe feelings. what you say reflexs you, so dont silence yourself or use an empty vessel."

Why I watch: You are fun to watch, you have true reactions, you are honest, you know makeup can be expensive (as in expensive in the real world), it feels as if you talk TO your audience rather than AT us, you throw in fun videos with James or show behind the scenes, you are vulnerable-yet graceful. It’s just... fun. You get how awesome makeup can be, what it can do, and still are down to earth no matter your success.

There's a lot going into why I like your videos. The attitude, the voice, the honesty, way you present things.... BTW the advice that stuck with me came from my moms friend (totally random) and she said to do one thing at a time . I wanted to be a photographer and makeup artist at the same time, and it got me nowhere....So I choose makeup. And hey, I now teach makeup, got to be a leading MUA at our Fashion week.. So I "blame" her for that. I still smoke, damn it.
