I am so happy I found out about you!! I like so many have been searching & spending hours trying to find someone who understands & has the quality of hair I’m looking for. I’ve almost pulled the trigger twice on a brand I thought was high quality but the more research I did brought me to your toppers. I’ve been watching your videos & feel like this may be the one!!
Please do a video for us curly hair girls. There is so little information online on how to wear and incorporate your curly hair into a first time topper. Great video, thank you.
Having had Covid twice and suffered Covid hair loss TWICE(!) … toppers have been my saving grace! Human hair seems best but i also have a Raquel Welch Top Billing lace front topper which is amazing! Dimples silk topper in human hair is fantastic as well…no “wiggy shine” ..natural looking. (welch is synthetic). But I am still very self conscious and worry if anyone notices…and just sometimes I don’t want to wear them!
Thank you so much for this video, I am wavering between getting a topper or wig. I have about twice as much hair loss as yourself. I am scared I will take care of the piece wrong or someone will say something to me about wearing new hair. I am saving up to purchase from your company. I love the colors as well as how you took the time to answer questions about a wig for me. The more I look at your toppers the more I think I should get the topper first. Hey Beth thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I think if you have never worn alternate hair before then go for a topper first. If you still have bio hair for it to clip on then this would be my advice for you. This is such a great video. I have the same hair loss as you do. Mine though is also starting to be on the very back of my head. I've also had the hair on the top and hair on my left side very short for the last few years. For some reason it would never grow. Thank you for all the help ❤

heyyy thank you so much for watching! We will be getting stock super super soon so stay tuned! This was an 18-20 inch but i had it cut, so now it is around 16 inches and the colour is balayage of blessed one
I bought my first topper ( not Lusta) recently and wore it around my house for the first day. ( I had to return it bc base was too small and clipped into sensitive hair) My husband and my mom both did not notice. Only after I mentioned it they said they just thought I had done my hair . My oldest daughter was the only one who knew bc she’s been helping me try to find a topper . I do feel very self conscious bc it seems like everyone is staring at the hairline or something :(
hey Holly! Thank you for commenting...it is most likely that people are actually not noticing. But the way I look at things now is that at the end of the day, what is the worst thing that can happen if they do notice? 💓
I find when I tie mine up or even just in a pony tail then the weight of it seems to pull on the clips too much. My hair underneath is so fine that maybe I need to go for a full wig ....
Does anyone have ideas for what to do with your bio hair at home.. like sometimes i just wear it out, but if I've had a topper on all day, it's a total wreck.. just curious if anyone has cute ideas that aren't a hat that haven't occurred to me :) Love your videos, Kim! ♡
Hey lovely! There is such a thing as traction alopecia which is caused by clipping in hard clips in the same spots every single day. This does take a few years to happen usually. At Lusta, we've changed our clips to be a super soft closing clip that is designed not to cause this sort of hair loss. But for those with super sensitive areas, we suggest using different clips each day. For example, I'll use the two front clips and one back clip one day, then the next day do one front clip and two back clips. They all don't need to be clipped in at the same time, so you can switch it up to avoid this! hope this helps x
