Make sure your name and address are correct in the setup like you showed. Also, if you download a PDF print program and set it as your default printer, you can capture your graphs using the 'Print' button in the application. Otherwise, you are left with screen captures as a jpeg or bmp. Although this brings a bit more use to the 8903, I have all but switched to FFT software for measurements. A good software and good soundcard can do what the 8903 does and more. Yes, there is a learning curve, but well worth it. Keep up the good videos.

Simon: I finally got around to configuring my 8903B and Pete's software. Running Win 7 64bit, using a genuine NI GPIB card (PCI) with NI drivers. I could not install VEE 5.01 runtimes as I believe they are 16 bit. I installed the VEE 7.0 runtime instead. The configuration screen is called "IO Configuration" as opposed to "Instrument Manager" but that is where I changed the name of the 8903B to "Audio Analyzer". The default address was 28 as expected. Once I saved the setup (!!) the 8903B was found by Pete's software and it works properly. Thanks.
Simon: I installed VEE 7 runtimes because all the newer versions require that you also install the HP IO Library suite. And installing that suite breaks my working NI / Labview setup.
Simon Spiers Hello Simon. Yes I think it works fine, I think I tried the on arrival checks in the manual and it was fine. It looks like new and I bought it from a dealer in Poland, condition untested so I must have got lucky. I bought the GPIB interface after watching one of your previous videos. To be honest I ended up buying a 32 bit sound card from creative labs and using various sound analyser software. These appear to have many more tests and sweep and data storage options. I wonder if you have any thoughts on the performance of the sound card based analysers I am not sure how they would compare to the 8903. They are certainly much easier to install and setup than that GPIB software etc. I was thinking of doing a video about this but got distracted by logic analysers. I have just bought a new milling machine so think I will be concentrating on doing some mechanical projects and building my delta printer. Hi I just wondered if there's a digital to analogue converter for a digital scope to convert it to analogue on the screen? Is there a module out there that could be used to do this. I think the vertical changes with the increase of DB doesn't it must do because it showing 0 at the top when you put a base signal in it should change this feature automatically I am assuming. There is a alpha program at the moment that is going to replace Windows somebody is making so you can use Windows programs and third party programs specifically for Windows on this operating system it's not Linux it's an alternative to Windows? If Interested I'll try and find it.
