Conflict Between DL HUGHLEY and Mo'Nique Stems From Simply Saying "Yes" When I Should've Said "No!" 

Don’t know about being friends but move on don’t respond to the others comments 🤷‍♀️ I think when you go so low to bring someone’s child into grownups issues is not very forgivable.

I disagree. These are two adults that act as if they know right from wrong. I think a sitdown between them two privately can fix this. It’s time for them to be adults.

When traumas happen you have to choose to get past them no matter how hard it is and will be extremely hard to do it but it can be done!!!!

I don’t think Monique is toxic at all. Dave Chappelle said many things about people and no one went at him, not really. Monique is a female, so a lot of people will go with her. How in the world can you be toxic when she was fighting for equal pay when it comes to women in the comedian realm? Are you that foolish? And I agree with not wearing bonnets and pajamas and stuff like that at airport or even outside of the house. Black women should always be ready to go and when they step outside the house. A simple conversation with these two privately can fix this issue.

She hijacked the ME TOO movement after IRS came for her and Netflix told her she had to audition since she was on a ten-year hiatus to raise some of her children. She had no business touching D.L.’s daughter's sore spot to hurt D.L. Not to mention, all conundrums she had with D.L. should’ve been addressed to D.L. privately, NOT ON STAGE. We must stop giving her passes for her crazy black woman rants and juvenile antics.

There are two toxic people in my family that remind me of Mo’Nique. I have seen their toxicity play out in various ways. The are emotionally stunted narcissists. They think that the earth rotates on its axis to solely benefit themselves. These people keep a hurt locker , where they store all of their misperceived injustices so that they can retrieve them to constantly batter and abuse others. There world exists outside of themselves and they rarely engage in introspection. They are human lightning rods, so you never know when you will be struck by them. They rarely accept responsibility for the role that they play in the conflicts that they often initiate. They thrive on conflict, because this is their normal. Mo’Nique is estranged from most of her family, including her oldest son. D.L. Should not apologize to this women, because doing so which be enabling her toxic behavior. This woman needs deep, extensive psychotherapy.

@@truckerran1974 that’s where you are wrong, they haven’t been at this for yes, Monique has! Monique decided to insult HIM after he tried to help her and she wanted to headline HIS tour. Monique then gets on stage and insults DL’s mother, wife and daughter. DL responds and you say he should be a bigger person, meaning shut up and take it. Monique brought it BACK up on club Shay Shay insulting him again. DL responds to protect his family and you then say be the bigger person. DL is now asked a question by Don, he responds by not insulting, belittling or demeaning anyone, yet you say be the bigger person. By your logic being the bigger person is hurting his daughter again by not defending her. DL silence and focusing on his family friends and career is being a bigger person. Bc all Monique has done is spend them same stories of Tyler, Oprah, Lee Daniel’s , Whoopi, Steve, and now Will Packard, Kevin Hart, Dave Chapelle, Vivian Fox, Taraji and list goes on. Just like her tirades have been over the last 10 years and how’s that working out for her? Silence and Elevation is being the bigger person my brother.

Monique should have renegotiated her contract. Most actors do have to promote the films they are starring in. She won an Oscar for her role!
