Great job on this video, bro! I played along with you on my PS2 and got all the same stealth kills easily. Also, I was able to get one more that you missed. The guy that's on the turret, after you cross the bridge. Even though the alarm is blaring and you just mowed down over a dozen guys with the other turret before crossing the bridge, you can still headshot him with your silenced pistol and get an additional stealth kill. Cheers mate!
This game (plus C:DS2 and C:Vietnam) were my childhood faves, and I'm about to play DS2 on my PS3. Thought I'd check out a playthrough of the first game seeing as its unavailable just for the nostalgia and am blown away that you can play it this stealthily! Very impressive! Gonna settle in now and watch you smash the rest of this game.
Thank you. I'm really happy with how this walkthrough came out. It made me tear my hair out constantly and scream when things randomly didn't work as they should but I feel like I almost perfected the game.
The silenced weapons in other Conflict games improve over time. The silenced weapons in Conflict: Global Storm are far better and its easy to rack up stealth kills in it if you are using Bradley or Jones. B-) I wish there was a remake for this game but for PC. along with the other Conflict games. If I could make it, the game would be longer and have the same system as this game in terms of promotions and awards. However, I would make a system where you could pick the type of special forces unit you would like to operate as. Each special forces unit has their own unique abilities for you to carry out your missions and beat the game. I would give more freedom to let people pick the type of weapons they would like to take on missions. However, you would take control of supporting characters, air force and navy assets such as calling artillery support from Iowa class battleships. I would remake this Conflict: Desert Storm, Conflict: Global Storm and sequels of it.
I'm not sure if you know that but I discovered that you don't have to go crouch when you equip a knife . As long as you equip the knife they just don't hear your running.
I have a question in the first cutsen bradly and Foley was together in one mission and they failed and the Iraqies cought Foley but how couldnt they cought bradly
having the knife equiped makes you silent, so you can run at full speed with the knife equiped and the enemies wont hear you, ive never understood why this is the case and its really silly, but its how it is for some strange reason lol
Physics is tied to framerate in these old games. You need to restrict it otherwise on modern systems it'll run berserk and you'll float around. I'm playing on 40fps in these videos as it's about as fast as it will tolerate without breaking.
