Learn when and why you should or should not annex cities in Conflict of Nations. If you have some comments to add as to why you do or do not annex, I would love to hear from you in the comments.
In a recent game as Brazil, I eventually annexed all of cuba to wildly increase my ability to produce ships, because my resource productionwas so high i couldn't spend all of my resources if I TRIED unless I threw them away on useless production. Annexing allows you an outlet for those spare resources, so if you have very high resource production, or very low number of cities and thus very low troop production, I believe annexing is worth it.
Go ahead and take your pet back to the shelter. If you would do that to your pet over me not subscribing then it's better for them. (obviously i realize both the sub request and this comment are sarcasm lol)
@@TheB2 "If you don't subscribe I'll bring my pet to the shelter" Also, what are these trade embargos? I got hit with one recently and I have no idea what it is and its not on the wiki
The new editing lol, You should do a video about the things you can build in provinces (Combat Outposts, Field Hospitals, Pontoons etc) , properties, uses etc
I think it would bring value to players and I often forget to take advantage of those enhancements. I can probably combine it with another video. Yeah the editing....I'm trying to do better with Thumbnails and making fun of myself. haha glad you appreciated it.
Lol I’m currently fighting a 5v1 as Ethiopia no mail rage but I got the classic “you be on this game all day” 😂😂 well yeah my job allows me to do so. Literally took 3 capitals in one day Turkey , poland , Austria .
Yes, they get a great starting advantage for sure. I may play a round with them to check them out......I just love a good underdog country though, so it keeps me from playing a bigger nation.
Great Video, i am also new to this game and it is a relief to have a experienced player like you doing the explaining for us, so that we know what to do. Great content keep up the good work :D
Maybe this is a silly question, if you put arms industry buildings on non-annexed cities, I assume you still harvest the resources produced, or am I missing something? Also, if your capital gets decimated, can you use it as a surrogate capital?
I like to play Canada since USA is the only country your boarding, and after you make a batch of troops, you can start invading, then Mexico, it’s best to ally with 1 or 2 people in South America, some in Africa, and that’s it really, that’s a good coalition in my opinion
It's the same on any continent....if you can unite with close nations it really helps insulate you so you don't fight in as many towns at once and you fight 2 or 3 v 1
America has a major problem, though. You can't get enough vp to truly compete, so if you play America you HAVE to invade Africa, asia, Australia, or Europe at some point, which can be very hard if they are built up. An asia or Africa start gives you much more potential vp you can grab BEFORE you have to send a massive fleet and army overseas, which is why they win far more commonly than America.
gave you a sub, B2. Love the videos, love the in depth breakdowns, and I'll be looking for you to start a game so I can join in.. the only reason I haven't already is I play 4x, but I'm willing to slow play a game for a chance to play with you!
When I get one I will put it out on the Community Page so everyone knows. I'm thinking of getting my discord up and running again so it's easier to communicate on.
So at day 45 you have in your home cities: level 5 arms industry, level 5 hospital, and bunker. But you don't have the buildings needed for nukes, or defense agaist it?
I will typically have one city that can pump out THAAD to defend against missile and position each to defend at least two cities depending on the country I play. Morocco in I game im in now only needs 2 to defend all 6 homelands.
If you stack your units right and move them efficiently, then you don't need to produce as many. They key is not to lose ones you build and send them back to your capital to heal so you have a defense there while they are healing.
Great video, it really made me understand annexing better.I’m playing as Belarus and taken Poland,Romania,Russia etc and currently fighting 2 fronts against Sweden and Greece but coming up on top do to heavy power
For just attacking, I use MRLS and Infantry to keep it simple. Defending those stacks is difficult. I don't like to take damage on my Infantry since I need them to capture and keep rogues out. I like to have a stack of SAMS or AA following for anything wanting to take shots at the ground and pound stack. The idea is to keep moving and take land/cities as quickly as possible so ideally you want your COA attacking with you.
How does a small country like Sweden always play this badass?!? In like every game and all of your vids I see Sweden kicking the keister outta other countries! It's not a big country either, and how every time Sweden is taken by a pro player?
strategically certain countries have a better position and have less fights early which makes them a great country. If you take a country in central euro, those are for advanced players and light golders. You get hit by so many hostile countries.
@@TheB2 bro, another thing. I watched the vidoe but still wonder why would I spend so much money in annexing cities? And when I can expect the expenditure to amortize?
I didn't think you needed to annex to build - only mobilize units. I thought their production still increases - I know not fully. And shelling cities just reduces their morale and production
@Andrew Ontiveros no I'm not joking, the resources fields look really good, I'm currently prepping to invade rnyself. My plan is to take the top west coast city and let my armour go through the middle while my infantry takes the north coast so I can get as much of the resource s as possible, I take all the western cities and then I finish the war by returning to the western coast to take the bottom city.
You only have to annex them if you want to produce military or higher amounts of resources. You can leave them occupied without annexing if you dont want to.
You are doing something wrong or maybe you have a right of way with the nation you are moving through. If the army is just standing there, you could have moved into the province at the same time as another country and your troops will go aggressive if you move them.
.... I Look forword to fighting u .... [I will l9ook 4 the vid] My cuestion.... wut you think of the NUMERUS pl9yers colled [USER] [followed by string of numbers
Hello, why did my money per hour decrease, is it because I have war? And does upkeep of units consume resources? I know you probably won't see this. I'm new btw.
At about what point during the game should you start annexing cities? Is it something you should do along the way. How important is Annexing cities to winning. Should you annex a few cities or a lot of cities?
Every game you play will be unique and you should look to annex if you are weak in certain resource productions. If you run heavy Naval/Air, then you will run short on comps, go annex a comp city.
If you can afford it without hurting your resources, Id say go for it and annex a city that produces resources that you lack/use the most. By day 30 I usually have at least 4 cities annexed so I can produce more troops at a time, more resources, and usually I annex a city that is far away from my homeland so I won’t have to move my forces far. If you are a landlocked nation then definitely annex a port city and start cranking a navy especially mid game. I start annexing as soon as I can especially when I’m not fighting a powerful nation. Your economy is the most important thing in the game and if you can out produce or out mobilize everyone, you will have the upper hand.
Hey !! 😁 Im kind new to the game... I want to know, is it couterproductive to relocate my capital, in any way ? Can it lower the porcentage of anything really ?! Im kinda lost
It's not really, but there is a morale factor the further you get away from your capital. So if you expand really far east or west, it could make sense to centralize it if morale becomes an issue. You could also offset morale by building bunkers.
@@TheB2 that's exactly why I want to relocate the capital city. As Im expanding, my capital is getting more and more isolated. So with this being said, would you recommend me to do it ?
@@marcelinogonzalez4303 we tried to use mobile data but it wasn’t working maybe we can try again? I thought about the vpn but don’t you have to pay for those?
I am the biggest noob in this game but i’m trying to learn. A destroyer is destroying me, what is the easiest way to kill a destroyer? I tried to think and i am researching Strike Fighter/ Naval Strike Fighter.
I am new player on mobile phone. After watching this video i have absolutely no idea where to click on what button, to Annex a city. A lot of talking. No direct answer.
If you look at the date on the video you would see this was released before there was even a mobile game. Sometimes it's wiser to keep your mouth closed when you don't know all the facts. I see a lot of typing with no facts.
@@TheB2 Thanks for the constructive response. If anybody is looking for How to Annex City : Click on the city on map, then Build Button and there is the Annex City.
