Still one of the best moments I ever had playing poker was when an OMC 3 bet for the first time in about 7 hours of playing, and the other 6 players at the table where all very good grinders much better than me back then. It went 5 ways to the flop because everyone knew exactly what he had and old dude actually was about 200bb deep. Flopped set over set (5s over 3s)against this guy who was also crushing. And old man didn’t wait for those aces to fold them on the flop no matter what the action was so I scooped a monster 😂

I know an old guy that is basically at the poker table to accumulate comps on his players card. He plays tight for 5 minutes, leaves the table to play slots for 25 minutes, comes back to the table right before they can pick up his chips, and then does it all over again😂

there was one mega nit omc yesterday at my 1/2 game who didn't raise AK pre or raise a turn bet and checked it down when he had the second nuts. Raises pre and there was one super action player who was playing all sorts of garbage raises pre gets 4 callers action player min click 3 bets then omc goes all in for 400 one other guy tanks for a bit then calls all in for 120ish because he says the action player will call and action player calls off the 400. Nit had KK action player had 82o and other all in 57o board came out 567K8 3 hearts and I folded JT hearts. Then action player goes to play 2/5 and it was frustrating

I’m not sure they will get this subtle hint.

I cut my teeth playing guys like these, it gives me a advantage if I run deep in tournaments because tight is right with 20 left… You have to bait omc in cash, let them get in with a blind, if they raise you only call with a high double suited hand… it’s tough to do but possible

Usually story behind most OMC's is just: "I ran a big bluff once and it got called. So now I don't bluff." Okay, so what are you going to do when I start folding top pair against your flop bets because I know you only bet two-pair or better? How are you going to get your blinds back when you can't even get a single bet in against me? Here's an idea, in light of your fold equity, maybe you should *shock, horror* try running a bluff every now and again :) More simply, we can say that predictable poker is bad poker.
