EC3, no matter what happens i wish you success in this totally not Fight Club adventure.

I really enjoyed this interview with EC3 and totally agree with a lot of what he had to say. I personally think that a big problem with WWE is that they're still trying to run with people in creative who were on board in the "Attitude Era" and haven't changed with the times. Let's see here...EC3 - success in Impact Wresting, goes to NXT then gets called up to main roster and they don't know what to do with him. Don't listen to his creative ideas and then...GONE. The Fiend - his creative ideas are listened to and makes one of the most revolutionary characters in the last decade or more, then they bury him on the "Grandest stage of them all" with a 3 minute loss to Goldberg who was wrestling in 1 of his 2 obligatory matches per year to satisfy his contract , then...GONE. Killer Kross - success in Impact Wrestling and AAA in Mexico, a big draw and one of the most popular on the independent scene. Signed b WWE but asked to change his ring name because "Killer" is too PG for wrestling. Unstoppable in NXT with a "Killer" entrance with Scarlett, 2 time NXT champion. Called up to main roster and buried first with a 90 second loss as NXT champ to Jeff Hardy and then buried again with a horrible costume, altered entrance without Scarlett and then...GONE. Control Your Narrative, in my opinion, is bringing back what has been lost or is missing from wrestling for a long time and I hope they will be very successful with their new partner. I know I'll be watching to see how things unfold in the future. 👍

EC3 seems to be one of the few humans, that gets the conversations he makes up in the shower across as he plans them. Nice interview.

The word Megalomaniac comes to mind every time I see EC3 and I'm not sure if that's the whole point or if I'm getting worked or whatnot, but I'm interested nonetheless. Great interview. As a huge fan of alliteration, the Rant Room & Project Pit ideas already have a thumbs up from me.

I love this interview both philosophically of taking control of one's self. To his views on his fed time. I'm actually very interested for control your narrative just because of how different it seems from the video specials. Stylistically I'd find it cool to have a hybrid style of movie type cinema incorporating a live crowd. Kinda like how they'll shoot scenes for like the wrestler. It's an actual match but has a different layer to it. Plus something I don't really see done.

The one move I legit get mad that I see be misused in AEW all the time that they should of treated like the OMG power move was The Piledriver... It kills me when I see people use it and no sell it ( Penta is by far the worse... ) but everyone. It should be used as a finish or atleast save it for a big match and a solid 2.999999 count.... Also the lowest people on the totem pole who should be allowed to use it is FTR with their spike piledriver... Penta can keep the package piledriver and I love Omega / Codys Tiger Drive and Suzukis ( now Mox and Brians ) cradle piledriver but again they should be used sparingly, as the finish or at bare minimum the signature that goes to the finish like brian using it and transitioning into a submission for the finish ( that's actually dope ) . Punk, Brian, Mox, Omega, Jericho, FTR, Penta and a handful of other people I'd let use it with those rules I'd let Black, Kingston, maybe Adam Cole and maybe Hangman, MJF and Sting. Everyone else it's banned. No Best Friends, jobbers, Midcard etc... As for the Young Bucks ehhh... They don't sell it so I'd rather not.

Moves I'd protect are ( most variations included ) - Tombstone ( normal, sitout, even steinerdriver ), Piledriver (everything from standard, craddle, butterfly, tiger driver, package etc...) Powerbomb (sitout, falling, last ride, jacknife, etc...), Burning Hammer, Stunner, RKO/ Diamond Cutter, Chokeslam, Paradigm Shift/ 916/ brainbuster, Death Valley Driver/ Attitude Adjustment, Kudo Driver aka Vertibreaker, Sitout Chokebomb ( Atrain ) then your next tier your DDT ( standard less so but butterfly aka dirty deeds/ Future Shock ), Canadian Destroyers and Superkicks ( moves that were abused but still moved ) now this I might put top tier but the Rock Bottom/ Uranage less so sitout/ side effect etc... ( I would put Miros swinging side slam top tier... That looks great ), Two handed chokebomb/ GallowPole, Full Nelson Slam, Fisherman Driver/ Buster (especially the version 3 from 2k), Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver ( Penta, MJF ), Murphys Law, I'd put some suplexs like Dragon, Tiger, Half and Half, Regal, Backsuplex Driver, Exploder, Pumphandle, even German... Sister Abagail, Jackhammer ( unless by Goldberg in his prime gets top tier ), Spinebuster, Powerslam ( Strowman/ Bulldog ) and moves like that. Even a solid neckbreaker. I didn't name Submissions, kicks ( other than super, knees, dives and etc... bc most could be finisher and I'd be here all week. Moves are over used and some moves should be treated holy atleast in the big 3 promotions ( WWE, AEW, NJPW ). WWE did a fucking masterful job banning the Piledriver that if they bring it back it could be a legit angle maybe even leads to a legends retirement. Let 1 person on the roster ( Someone who is a guaranteed star and trying to build ) I'd say Austin Theory but hell I'd give it to Cody, Seth, KO, etc... someone who is big now but with such a simple story could get them next level.

Solid interview, definitely an interesting guy. I was watching WWE at the point they had EC3 and I knew they'd screw him up, so I didn't get invested. WWE doesn't have a creative bone left in their rotting corpse.

Superkicks and suicide dives (tope suicida) I understand since they are part of the norm now but I figured the Canadian Destroyer was more relatively uncommon than the sunset flip powerbomb. Absolutely brilliant. Love what EC3, JC and the rest of the team continue to do with their bridge-building pieces. The Rant Room sounds like a really useful idea for discourse. I'd previously thought of the Rage Page which is a similar concept but online haha.

I thought "the Rant Room" was crazy when i first read about it, but now where it comes from, and it's genius. Who's gonna stand in front of Adam Scherr and talk shit to his face? lol I really want to like this thing, since I like most of the people involved, but I don't know whether I will remain interested if it continues this rightward slant. I like the idea though. It gives people a chance to have some testicular fortitude and say to their face, but the best part of it is that they may get some useful information or ideas on occasion that they can use to improve the show. It is definitely a unique approach to the business, and it may just work.

I don't wish him ill will or wouldn't tell him to die or whatever, but man does he need to think about what he says before he says it. He's passionate and he hustles (to varying degrees of success) but some of his thoughts/opinions are just ass-backwards at best. Some of his shit is legit. Nothing wrong with accepting responsibility for yourself and trying to be the best version of you that you can be from day to day. But also be less concerned over what others say and do. Be less concerned over what they eat. Let people be happy when it doesn't hurt you. It's like he's halfway there to understanding it all, but then he spouts off with his random wannabe-Confucius schtick and kills any momentum he had.

While I disagree with most of Austin Aries's opinions, I don't know the guy so I don't dislike him and refuse to judge him. I judge people based on actions. I love him as a wrestler though, and I am glad he will be back on the pro wrestling scene.

WWE really messed with this dude, his debut in NXT was amazing, he had the look, the charisma and the skills to be a top star but because the WWE creative have the smallest of brain cells especially buck tooth Dunn they had no idea what they truly had. It's why the WWE is so shit they give no one a chance because Vince has a raging hard on for Samoans and Part timers who really can't wrestle. Plus they got Johnny Knoxville running around there now having more screen time than the people who actually worked their asses off just to get spat in the face.
