However, what happens when a co-wife is fed up and she needs to get something off of her chest? We are Coach Nazir, Coach Fatimah, & Coach Nyla. We are considered Black Americans and we were all raised as Christians. We have a keen understanding of the many facets of American culture and the ongoing challenges present within it.
Each of us accepted Islam as young adults and are practicing Muslims who follow the final revelation, The Quran, and the example of the Last & Final Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (sws).
Coach Nazir & Fatimah were married for 15 years and had 6 children when he chose to practice polygyny. He married Coach Nyla, and our polygynous journey began.
Since then, 4 more children have been born, 1 by Coach Fatimah and 3 with Coach Nyla who has added 2 bonus children (step-children) to the family making a total of 12 children.
We had very little support and even slimmer resources when we began our journey, so things were done by trial and error and there were lots of errors! However, after being proactive in our growth and commitment for the success of the family, we figured it out and decided to be a resource for others who may be experiencing similar difficulties.
Once we got it right and reverse-engineered the method, we wanted to take away any excuses from those who say they didn't have a way to learn how to practice it correctly.
ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
This channel is a place where we invite you to travel with us on our personal development journey to develop better and more fulfilling relationships whether you are single, married in monogamy, or practicing or looking to practice polygyny.
We share a lot about polygyny and its dynamics because our teachers and spiritual leaders have failed us in this area. Being that polygyny doesn't get its fair share of airtime, but people are still practicing it without practical education, we decided to help.

I do listen to you sisters but I can’t cope with my hubby having second wife it’s over a year since I found out he has a second wife and was hiding for 4 years. It’s causing my family to break apart I have 5 children my youngest is 3months old..

Asalaam o alykum sister, I've been thinking to contact my co wife so i can get some answers but i still feel maybe im not ready yet. I have never met her or spoken to her, its as though shes a ghost, shes their but i don't know who she is lol Its been 8 months since my husband married again and its been the worst year of my life, an emotional rollercoaster and i blame her for alot but then i think i need to know her side too in order to move on.

Meet her with an open heart. You need to have trust in Allah that nobody can destroy or take away what's yours. Believe in yourself and put your worries in your questions. Meet her like a friend. Like how u would meet someone in a gathering and just talk to her. Be gentle but show her if she puts problems your way your not going to take it. May Allah swt help you and guide you. Aameen 💗

Looks like, because she wasn't from an islamic background, she didn't quite know that she could specify no-polygamy as a condition before marriage. It's important to have these conversations before marriage and not shock the first wife with a sudden second marriage.

I was a so called first wife and I have a problem banning something Allah has permitted but communication is key for any relationship.

@@zxcccccc1 Yes, Allah has permitted it with certain conditions. The prophet also wed his multiple wives under certain circumstances and for particular reasons. A lot of those don't exist anymore.

The problem is in such marriage one wife will be loved less and specially the first because the love faded and specially if you spoke to her before marriage the love fades there responsibilities comes. He taking pics with her happy marriage with second wife and first just seeing her husband smiling on her and happy when he looks at his first wife just a calm faded love smile.After years love fades in second marriage as well the first marriage suffers in such case

If man are yo marry a second wife why don't they marry someone much older than the existing wife , someone widowed or divorced someone who has children , what makes polygamy indecent is the fact that man looks for the younger ones every next marriage , which means they're looking for pleasure more than doing what pleases Allan 😊

Here you go again with another false narrative. What does it matter to you whether an additional wife is young, old, widowed, or a single mother if a husband fulfills the responsibility of being a good husband? This response is one that many first wives like to use to make them feel superior to any incoming wife. Many first wives mistakenly feel that a widow, single mom, divorcé, or older woman is less than themselves. How shameful to dismiss women in this fashion. Polygyny isn't indecent whatsoever, it's people who try to run their own weak narratives which destroys families and inserts all kinds of stereotypes where they don't belong. When it comes to high standards and morals, there are those who build and those who destroy. Ask yourself which are you? 🤔

I understand it's in the Quran but we all live at different times where it's absolutely not necessary to marry more than one wife. Plus if the husband wasn't all about his personal desire he would have discussed it first before going ahead to secretly marry her. The second wife knew her husband is married so the act was intentional on both of them. They cheated the first wife

Sadly, what you stated is a typical first wife response and it's very weak. Let's dig into this: 1. We do live in different times, every second that passes is a different time. Are you saying the Quran, which didn't reveal polygyny, because it was already practiced in many cultures, is somehow not applicable or just the part relating to polygyny isn't applicable today? 2. We're from the USA, where is every man married, that would still leave over 6,000,000 women unmarried! Do you care about other women or just yourself? Do they deserve a chance at love, companionship, intimacy, children, etc... or do we just say too bad? See how the wisdom of Quran is still applicable? It's not like the USA suffers from prostitution, porn addiction, casual sex, STDs, children born out of wedlock, children who don't know their fathers, casual abortions, or sexual degradation and deviance at all, right? All things that a form of moral marriage should help prevent and safeguard against. Make no mistake about it, this is what you get from men who are all about their personal desires! Men who marry build families. It's so tiring to keep hearing the same old lines that dismiss men as knuckle dragging sexual predators that don't really care about women when in reality, your comment shows no compassion or concern for women who desire to practice an honorable form of marriage like polygyny. To me, that's shameful!
