Real talk, love the ones who are honest. No one is saying with steroids you are not working your arse off. It's just making sure that you don't lie and set unrealistic expectations for people whilst promoting yourself. Bodybuilding is a tough sport no matter what.

So glad I never took any gear, I’m in my 50’s and no one believes me when I tell them that. I’m not as big or cut as I was 20yrs ago but with constant workouts and a decent diet the last 35yrs I’m happy with how I look and more importantly how I feel.

I've lift for almost 5 years straight during early 20s. Made some fantastic gains. But no matter how much I ate and worked out right I hit a plateau. The harder I worked the less I gained, even got smaller due to injuries 😕. Took up jogging instead, became very slim, and trim but now have knees and back issues. Now I just walk. But it's soooooo boring 😴

I think most of the dishonesty comes from the folks who have programs and supplements the need to sell. Like how are folks supposed to trust your program works when you're non-natural. That's why people like Jeff Cavalier are so popular. He's relatable.

I appreciate their honesty. Alot of people are naive and don't realize how prevalent Steroids, SARMS, pro hormones etc., are in their gyms. It's not limited to bodybuilders. I'm 60 and have lifted for over 45 years so I have a little experience. Fact is, however, that proper nutrition, working out hard and living the lifestyle is also important. I'm not knocking or judging anyone using gear, it's a personal choice. I do think that people today stay on cycles year round to maintain their awesome physiques

I’m so glad all I did was trt and stopped after 3 months. I got scared and I was feeling like crap. They said I was supposed to feel good but my blood pressure was through the freaking roof.

My dad was a bodybuilder when he was young. He abused steroids. He also won many competitions. He passed away at 55 from a heart attack. Steroids are not good for your long term health.
