30:50 I knew something was off, but I did not expect to be ambushed at the bench XD I also never realized that they said "we're not going back" or whatever it was at the time, indicating that they were probably members of the WLF at one point 39:30 They are so cool and creepy! I really loved that they used them more in this story 58:48 Why bother? It's only normal. I remember playing survival and grounded like, save what? There is no ammo XD 2:24:05 I always say how I was only seeing red through that first playthrough, and now I see how this scene reflects that... 2:37:03 I agree 100% and no, despite what the developers say, they would not have been able to do anything about the situation they are in - and this is my area of expertise (microbiology and molecular biology), for the the record
You're on a roll with these uploads and im here for it! Great video like always! Also you're not weird, I'm sure that feeling is agreed with for 98% of parents. As a father I would move mountains to protect my children.
That's feeling off being hunted by the stalker never fails to send the hairs on the back of my hand standing up 🫣 so well done & thank you for a wonderful playthrough really enjoying your playing style & thoughts on the game Jackie🤘 take care & sending good vibes to you and family 🌻🐝🙏🐰
You are doing a very good job in this playthrough, and the low ammo is a nice touch, makes it a bit more intresting. Whether it's intensional or not. :) Also, you keep saying zombies, which in a sense is ok, but they are Infected. These variants of walking mindless things, never dies when they are bitten and turning, they go into a deep sleep, then, like undead, suddenly awake, but, deep down, the human is still alive, losing any control of thier body. :)
Unless your lack of looting is intentional, you must search your surroundings better, your missing so much good stuff! Other than that, your doing great!
I know im too late but that work bench jump scare apt. There was a safe inside that apt. Js and u could have busted the outside window to get into the locked apt across the hall. Js G. U comedy tho 😂. When u say fuuckkk! U mean that from the soul!! 😂 have u upgraded ur health with the pills…? And ur listening range
Everyone has a breaking point. Joel's was losing another daughter, he couldn't bear that to happen. So he did everything in his power to stop it. Great play, Jackie.
100% agree with everything you said at the end there. Only thing i'd add is, on top of all the other ethical/moral dilemmas, the Fireflies never got Ellie's consent to do the surgery/kill her. She wasn't given the opportunity to decide to make that sacrifice. I'm not saying that justifies Joel's actions, but it does condemn Fireflies actions. At least that's my opinion. Great episode, Jackie!
I agree! I'm sure, if given the choice, Ellie would have made the sacrifice. Cuz she is so upset with Joel for taking that from her. Fun fact in my part 1 playthrough... I only shot the doctor in the toe 😂 Who knew there would be that much bloodloss from a toe wound? 🤣
@@Kha0tic I was gonna make a joke about nicking a major artery in his foot, assuming there are none down there. Decided to look it up out of curiosity. Turns out there actually IS a major artery in the foot and you CAN in fact bleed out from a foot wound! So consider your doc kill anatomically feasible! 🤣
@@reluctantParticipante 🤣 that's pretty cool to know! Well, not if it happens irl 😂 but dang it, I didn't wanna kill him, just wanted to take out his big toe! 🤪 life happens i suppose!
I'm not likely to play this game myself, but I''ve really enjoyed the opportunity to follow the storyline, and Ellie's difficult journey, while you do all the hard work! So thanks for that Jackie. I don't blame Joel for one second for not letting Ellie in on the truth - the weight of the responsibility would just crush her, and he just doesn't want her to have to live with that...sometimes, on rare occasions, the truth isn't the best policy imo.
2:38:10 You know I love me some chaos! Just look at my username 😂 2:38:24 And by "almost died" do you mean dying several times? 😝🤪 Just messing with you Jackie! If you never died the playthrough wouldn't be interesting!
*this comment does not contain spoilers Did she want to save humanity? Or did she want that her life (having survived and Riley not) to mean something? It's just that for me they are two different things. One is altruistic, the other is more selfish. Why didn't she ever try to find the Fireflies? She knew that even though they have disbanded, there were still some who didn't want to give up, and even though the only doctor who could have created the vaccine had died, perhaps someone else would have continued his work. If it's so important to save the world, wouldn't it be worth trying? but Ellie preferred to return to Jackson and not forgive Joel. and yes I agree with you. If I were Joel I would have done the same. I had saved Ellie. The difference is that it wasn't to save me, but to give Ellie the right to choose. she deserved at least that I«m loving following this journey with you.
I can't give my full opinion cuz of spoilers, but in this episode we see Ellie did, in fact, look for the Fireflies. It's then that Joel was forced to tell the truth. Again I can't comment further until later...
@@Kha0tic I just think that Ellie didn't go to the Hospital with the intention of looking for the Fireflies but more to find out what had happened. Maybe we'll have more answers in the future
I know It is a little Bit early for that, but Is there a certain Game, you want to Play after The Last Of Us? And as Always, much Love to you. Hope, everything is okay.👍
I'd like to see her play the newest Fears To Fathom, or remake of Silent Hill 2, or maybe a chill game like Road 96... what would be your suggestions? 🙂
I'd like so much to see her face a horde in days gone. Would be fun to see panic Jackie throw all her molotov while 200 running zambies try to kill her. But days gone is such a long game ... Would take an eternity to see that
