@@queenie4714 Same thing with me, I see the markings on the road and they are all crisscrossed and idk what I'm doing. Seems easy from a birds eye view, not at all the same when actually driving.
I passed my driving test by watching Matts videos day and night! In conjunction with my driving lessons tho! But I still come back to watch these videos to remind myself!
Why can't have an instructor like this 😭 I been doing spiral roundabouts for the past 9 lessons and still find them confusing. After watching only 1 of your vids on spiral roundabouts I suddenly understand them so much more in terms of lane selection and timings, I feel so much more confident now, thanks you sooo much!!!!!
You're still the best Matt, I wish your videos got 100k views each so it would motivate you to keep going. I'd hate to see you stop doing this because of how much it means to me and everybody else who is trying to learn and finds your channel. Even though I have passed my test, I didn't learn so much, I was just rushed to a pass. I don't think I ever did any spiral roundabouts, or even any major roundabouts(more than 2 lanes). Never taught me about how to follow signs or roadmarkings. Your videos are so valuable.
I just passed my test first time with only 3 minors, and all i can say is thank you for being such a help with these insightful videos. These have helped me big time with both my driving and my confidence. Awesome!
It's great to see spiral roundabouts covered; as it seems many ADI's don't tend to cover these. I love the format of your videos and you have a nice approach to driving. It seems to me that your style is a little 'old school' though, focused on instruction, rather than coaching and a more tailored approach to student-centred learning. It could be doing so many provisional licence holder lessons. I thought you could only be ORDIT if you were grade A? Have you done much work on coaching? Having said all of this you clearly have a lot of experience and it's lovely to see the growth of a RU-vid channel like this; well done!
I've been driving 2 years now and still hate spiral roundabouts:( always taking a wrong exit. Liverpool,Hyuton. I'm originally from EU country, we don't have spiral roundabouts over there, very unusual to me.
while passing in narrow roads, i can't assign my left side position. because of that once i crushed slightly a pickup truck then i broke my left mirror and i still feel uncomfortable when i'm in a crowded and complicated traffic. what's your advice for that. thanks in advance.
HI there, i am studying for my ADI, and starting to teach in a couple of weeks, when you film your students, do you need to obtain any kind of signed agreement prior to filming ? i just wondered what the rules were around this, as i would really like to introduce it into my lessons at some point
Hi I need help please! My instructors car is a 1.6 diesel and my car is a petrol with a 1.0 engine (Peugeot 107) in his car he teaches me to not need to set the revs but this is just not possible in my car. I’ve practiced with no cars around just trying to keep the revs around 1500 on a flat but I just cannot keep my foot still and it goes up to 3 and then dips below 1200 I cannot keep the revs steady before lifting the clutch up and I’m getting really frustrated with myself now. Any tips please?
I know Im a year late on this comment but I just wanted to see if I could help anyone with this problem as its very common. In a 1l petrol engine car, dont worry about setting 1500 revs or having a set rev target in mind. Just press the accelerator with conviction and dont worry about the noise - no one cares. Just give it some revs lift the clutch to the bite and add more revs as you lift the clutch. Make sure to keep the gas constant as thats the reason people stall small petrol engines. Hope this helped atleast someone :)
Not hating but my driving instructor never asks so many questions like you do for example you say ‘now what’s ahead of you’ quite a lot which in my opinion would put me of , where as my instructor just has normal conversation and tbh it calms me down so I’m not overthinking everything and I’m just relaxed while I’m driving.Just a bit of advice for you .
The hell are you on about dude? You're telling me an instructer who is asking questions, getting students thinking, getting them prepared for any situation that occurs.. is better than an instructor who talks about what he had for dinner last night?
I phoned your driving school, left a message on voicemail for some information on refresher courses. Left my name, location and number, never heard anything? Would that be because my area isn't derby ?
@@Go2DrivingSchool thanks for letting me know, keep up the good work with your videos, they are really helpful to other learners and professional drivers👍🏻
