This single video has more rhythm patterns and various accompanying rhythms, than 10 regular videos on conga pattern. All patterns are great!! Thanks a lot Sir!
Gracias a ti.
Good format with just the slow and fast sections. I appreciate that you didn't break it right down to individual strokes. There are enough of those videos on RU-vid and not enough of this format.
Would these patterns transfer to a djembe? Been practising the bongos to funk and fancy a djembe for a more tribal sound.....but just lurrrrve these grooves and can hear them round a fire!! Thanks for posting man!
It would be great for Us if U explain the Patterns by each strokes played on the Conga 1 by 1(tones,slaps, base, heel-finger) and also count the no. of strokes for each pattern! Thank U!
Bloody hell... what more do you want? Him to come round d your house and personally show you? He literally breaks it down. He is bloody brilliant. So maybe you wont play like him
@@montemanzana2134 May be I want Him to coach Me Personally. It was My Request to such a Great Percussionist like Him. You do not need to Stick Ur Nose in it with such Foolish Comment Bro.
Thank you very much, great video, i've been trying to learn the first pattern, if you could've played it slower for longer would've been great and then gradually sped up, and then all those mad drum machine noises completely threw me. But I will persevere. thanks again
Great rhythms and you really play them amazingly. I love that spacey, shifting dimensional feel that a lot of them had. It would be helpful if you could break these right down to explain step by step each stroke and hand for more intermediate players like myself as I tried with the last one and kind of got there, but not quite...!
@Monte Manzana only read one comment of mine... but u haven't seen all the thumbs up and words of thanks and complements I have sent him and taken my time to do so.... I'm sorry Monte if I'm a little unsure about how to stop my passion for the conga drums and if I've been to pushy I'm very honest with you it was not intend I'm dyslexic and illiterate my words and grammar comes out not so perfect and correct.. No I'm not a stalker and I'm crazy about being one ether ... I've been respecting u in this message to you and i hope that you will have the same towords me .... and thanks again for your kindness. But I believe that given that I tried so many times to get a chance to touch base with this great musical drummer I truthfully and hope to received a little "hi mate.... but we live in a world with most people are free to choose so I respect his decision ..... I hope this message to you might clear that thing u refer me to ... Thanks again
I've tried to contact you through Twitter through Facebook I think and also I know most definitely through Instagram I left positive comments but for some reason you never seem to want to get back now we are all different human beings we all different personalities but I will say one thing it would be nice seeing that we both love and instruments and spent and dedicated lot of time towards it that the camaraderie which should be strong between players I DIG your playing I think you're very extremely talented it would be nice for you to try to contact me as I've tried more than probably 20 times contract you I know you're a busy man so am I keep the playing up thank you
What are you?a crazy stalker? I wouldn't contact you either. Maybe don't expect people to just embrace you, a stranger. Maybe he doesn't want to. Fairplay to him

Hola.
The rhythms are great the tracks he chose to play them to are shit! (except for the last track) it was what all the previous ones should have been!! totally detracting fam the great conga rhythms. Great slowed down instruction.
It might help if you played along to some actual funk. Nothing funky about any of this. You’re confusing ‘funky’ with ‘syncopated’ and ‘over playing’. If you were told that crap is funk, fire your drum programmer.
