Congress hits out at govt, police over sound pollution and coastal security lapses 

Goa Pradesh Congress voiced strong discontent on Tuesday against the ruling government's handling of sound pollution at Anjuna, accusing the authorities of failing to enforce law and order. They said police are the main culprits. Leader of Opposition, Yuri Alemao, condemned the reckless sale of land and the destruction of the hinterland under the guise of promoting tourism. Meanwhile, OlencioSimoes urged the Home Ministry to take precautionary measures to strengthen the coastal security of the state.
