There are many other method to find slope and deflection the why do we use conjugate beam method?
Ans:
1.It is because it is useful in finding the deflection even if there is no point in the beam where the slope is zero.
2. SF and BM in conjugate beam gives the slope and deflection respectively.

IN THE END WHEN YOU FIND DEFLECTION AT E YOURE TAKING CG AS X/3 BUT FROM LIGHTER PORTION CG SHOULD BE TAKEN AS 2X/3 . PLZZ EXPLAIN IM VERY CONFUSED REGARDING THIS .

sir! Here in deflection at d =(915/2EI)*3/3-(45/EI)*3/3-(270/EI)*3/2 =(15/2EI) should we multiply the moment with its cg also or just subtract loading ?

In case of udl one need to draw the moment diagram in parabolic form and then we use the formula for the area of parabolic to calculate load on each span further everything is same.
