Dude, 1996 - 2001 (and to an extent, perhaps even up to 2006) was the most magical time for the industry and the medium in general. It was crazy how quickly things kept advancing and how things kept coming along that just broke new ground like nothing and blew everybody’s minds. It’ll probably never be like that again, unfortunately.

The original Conker game along with the Banjo Kazooie series looked great even on N64, they’re so bright and colourful and use the hardware to its best.
Rareware were tech wizards during the SNES and N64 days. Even developers of today are blown away by what they were able to achieve with such limitations and restraints. Particularly with Tooie and DK64. Regardless of what you think of their quality, both those games are so huge and full of content that they put even modern day AAA games to shame
Rare were on another level. The N64 version of this game had dynamic lighting and shadows, which was extremely rare on the N64, alongside decent texture quality and full voice acting with good music samples. The Xbox version genuinely looks like an Xbox 360 game. Again, punching way above the weight of the hardware it was running on.
It's backcompat on Series X and on there will run at 1986p with 16x Anistropic Filtering. So that image quality improvement is probably helping a lot to make it look better than it usually does.
@@WllKiedSnake actually it runs at 4k and auto-hdr. (Basically 4k HDR) And even if you play on 1080p, the GPU still renders it 4k, looking better than native 1080p
Xbox is made from PC Hardware But it used Windows NT-based Xbox system software, that back in the day PC has Windows NT But not Xbox games, We still need a Remake Conker for PC, people should share it everywhere
Yeah it was a masterpiece of graphics back on Xbox, if they made it on Xbox360 the graphics going to be face-to-face with PS4 & Xbox One, but sure the higher polygons, better hair quality, lighting, shadows, and draw distance got an advantage 8th generation of consoles
The last time MS showed conker, they tried to make him look like the squirrel from ice age and push him into a hololens "game". The backlash was so great that they basically shelved it because they view the character and original bad fur day character "insensitive".
@@shaggysweetness Microsoft and all these big tech companies buy out the competition when in reality they don’t need them. They saw them doing too well with Nintendo and their tech was so advance that they had to cut them off, this was a response to Nintendo laughing at their faces trying to buy them out. Companies like Mojang and RenderWare suffered the same fate

Una vez que terminas el reloaded tengo entendido que desbloqueas la versión sin censura del juego, no estoy seguro si era con un cheat que le dabas al diablito de la chimenea que sólo funciona una vez acabes el juego pero sí se podía quitar la censura
@@Sonic-um8ph en la versión reloaded o remake, quitaron los cheats, o en mi casa no me aparece la opción de poner cheats como el original en la nintendo 64
Honestly I think both look great in their own right. Both manage to hold up really well, especially in higher resolutions. If I had to pick a winner though, I'd think the N64 version has the slight edge over Xbox due to having more cartoony graphics. Regardless of what you think though, both of these games push their respective hardwares to their absolute limits. The Xbox version looks like it could be an early 360 title especially.
Los gráficos del remake están a otro nivel. Es impresionante lo que hizo Rare con el hardware de la Xbox original. Viéndolo en una Xbox actual con el parche 4K se ve mucho mejor que juegos de hoy día. Lo mismo puede decirse de Kameo o Banjo Nuts and Bolts, espectaculares.
😳 Es increíble como Rare sabía exprimir hasta la última gota de las consolas en las que trabajaba. Ambas versiones se ven sorprendentemente bien. También está el caso de la trilogía de Donkey Kong Country en Super Nintendo 🤌
@@CarlosLopez-uj4wq Oh sí ya sé dónde, esa parte está difícil no por el nivel, sino por las palancas del control de la N64 que no jalan, también dejé el juego por eso hasta que se me pasó el coraje y tuve paciencia xD Jugarlo en emulador es mejor cuando se trata de estabilidad, más si conectas un control de Xbox o ps4
I've only played the Xbox version, so I can't say for sure. But judging from the comparison videos it looks like the superior version of the game in terms of overall aesthetics and gameplay. I think people who say otherwise are blinded by nostalgia.
Bueno, tambien es verdad que Conker original salio muy tarde. La N64 ya estaba desfasada, con la sexta generacion recien entrando. Tanto la PS2 como la Xbox pueden renderizar como 100 a 200 veces mas poligonos que la N64 y PS1, a mayor framerate y eso sin contar las nuevas tecnologias graficas. Creo que jamas tendremos un salto tan grande en 3d.
Lo único que no me gusta es que algunos rasgos de personajes no se ven tan caricaturescos como en el original y faltan algunas expresiones. Buen video, siempre me encantan tus videos de comparaciones gráficas.
Are the camera controls fixed in this version? On the Rare Replay version the the X camera axis is completely backwards from how we use it today. Makes it hard to play. Thanks!
Ambas versiones llevaron al límite la potencia gráfica de sus respectivas consolas, la versión de la N64 sin duda se ve genial a comparación de otros juegos del catálogo de esa consola, pero la versión del primer Xbox se ve impresionante para ser un juego del 2005, fácilmente podría hacerse pasar como un juego de la actual o anterior generación.
Algunos detalles de expresiones se ven más graciosos en el N64 , y aunque es una versión súper genial , lo que no me gustó fue que le cambiarán la música y el baile de Conker en el antro , en el N64 fue mi escena favorita
The thing that impresses me about the Xbox version is that when you put it into perspective, it's a game that, although released in 2005, is running on hardware that released in 2001, which is when the original Conkers BFD came out. Fucking insane.
Conker live and reloaded parece un juego de xbox 360. Que puto monstruo de consola fue. La gamecube tuvo juegos como los star wars rogue squadron 2 y 3 que alcanzaban calidad de 360/ps3 igual. Las dos mas poderosas consolas de la generacion.
Conker sigue siendo mi juego favorito, fue y seguirá siendo mi infancia de la primaria Xbox que tuve :') aquellos tiempos, tenía el disco de Xbox pero lamentablemente pues pasaron cosas y pues ya no lo tengo, pero en un futuro intentaré conseguirlo para tenerlo guardado por qué ya lo tengo en Xbox One y no me canso de jugarlo, lo juego cada año me encanta terminarlo una y otra vez
To me it makes sense why each generation since has had smaller visual impacts. When your games are already pushing 1mil polys and you triple that to 3 mil the difference isn't going to be that big. Also another thing is that rasterization for lighting has also gotten incredibly good so yeah I'm not surprised the differences aren't that big

No estaría nada mal una segunda parte de conker pero siendo bestia, sin ningún tipo de censura. Aunque viendo los tiempos que corren de censura y hacer todo políticamente correcto, creo que no se atreverían.

I definitely prefer the original visuals, but I'd be lying if i said Live and Reloaded looks bad. It could easily pass as an Xbox 360 game. Hell, it looks better than a lot of Xbox 360 games.

If they hadn't done the censorship in the dialog I feel the xbox version would of been considered a classic in its own right. Though honestly I did like the sound effects they used had it's own humor and charm
mi mejor amigo jugo el juego en n64 y despues se compro un ps2, siempre discutiamos cual consola tenia mejores graficos, pero este juego junto con battlefront 2 lo convencieron de cual era la mas potente xd
La cantidad de polígonos, las texturas, etc. obviamente son mejores en XBOX. Pero, por otra parte, me gustan más los colores del original. La versión del Nintendo 64 se ve irónicamente con más vida en ese sentido.
I'm still mad to this day that this game was a remake. I didn't know Reloaded was a remaster of the original game when I first got it. Felt totally ripped off by how the game was marketed as a sequel. Just to spend full price on a 64 game I already had.
