to add some valuable information for xbox players: if you try to enter your simbrief id via hardware keyboard, it won't work. you have to use the in-game tablet for that. (by clicking the numbers on the planes efb by mouse. then click "arrow down" on efb keyboard for confirmation)

Hi I realized td that it was in my aircraft’s I didn’t know it was on Xbox but when I trekked to do INIT request my route it’s greyed out and not appearing and when I click it it appears n tells me error downloading data

No matter what I do I cannot use init request in mcdu - I entered PilotID in mcdu also and whenever I click init request - cockpit displays freezes (event the clock) and nothing is happening.

I don’t have a subscription and after I put in the pilot ID it says that “SimBrief username is not set”. Can someone please help me with this. Btw I am on Xbox, I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

@@bdyga892 Sorry to have not responded to you! If you already have your simbrief ID go to the EFB Settings then go to enabke EFB key board enter your ID and it should work

Do you have to pay subscription for simbrief?

There is no subscription fee for Simbrief but in order to update the AIRAC cycle you have to subscribe to Navigraph. Thank you for watching the video. Have a nice day

If you are using Xbox then use the on screen keyboard of the tab to enter the ID. This will fix your issue.

it seems you have to activate the "call" button all the way on the left in the middle console. it is off by default / when starting the plane up (left from the throttle lever, below the com1 frequency display)

You have to get activated the radio communication on the pedestal. There is a video on my channel for ATC communication which will help you to enable the radio communication

that's the way you activate the radio but it does not allow you to request ATC clarence for IFR flight plan

@@zkittlez718 I can't really tell you if it's possible to get ifr clearance without using simbrief. when I think about it considering that inibuilds a310 doesn't support transfer of the world map flight plan into the plane, I assume it doesn't work on a320v2 neither.. Sorry but I have been using these planes with simbrief from the beginning on...

Whenever I enter my pilot ID, it says “Simbreif username not set, please go to options” even though I enter my pilot ID.

are you on xbox? in this case (maybe also on PC) it helps to enter your simbrief pilot ID on the EFB by using the EFB KEYBOARD (by clicking the numbers) and not via hardware keyboard. it somehow doesn't confirm it using hardware keyboard although the numbers appear.

I had a similar problem...turns out that the screen was dark because the brightness button was set low. Try the small button under the Power button...right side brightens

It is not working for Xbox, I’m tipping my pilot Id, then in Simbrief I generate the flight plan, see the pdf. On the EFB I type simbrief and says Generate flight Plan (in orange). 🙂🙂 edit: I also choose A20N - Inibuilds (MFS) A320 V2. On the flight plan.
