Amtrak is a great way to get to the places I wanna ride. 👍

Airbnb can be a cheaper option for a better place than a cheap motel but depends. Usually Amtrak trains have bike racks in the baggage car but Northeast Regional Trains have inside the coach cars but you have to remove the front tire to fit it there.

One of those times you all should try coast to coast. I recommend the California Zephyr from Denver to San Francisco, the most beautiful section through Rocky mountains.

Two hours late is almost like on time for Amtrak 😂. I think they start giving out vouchers in three or more hours late. Once I got a double refund when it was 10 hours late.

This was a different train Amtrak's Northeast Regional Train from New York to New Haven. You have to take the bike in. Each car has a bike rack but you have to remove the front tire. When the train is about to arrive then you take it down and get ready. It's kind of a hassle but that's how Northeast Regional trains handle bikes. I heard that they're working to change things around so that you don't have to go through this hassle with new cars.

No worries. Amtrak's representatives are always very helpful, you just go with the flow. Each car in Northeast Regional Train has a bike rack that fits 2 bikes. Are you heading to Buffalo to ride the Erie Canal Trail?

Each segment costs $20. The segment is when you get to the train till you get off the train regardless of distance. Northeast regional trains have bike racks inside the coach cars. You have to take the front wheel off when you hang it up.
