This video is an add on to part one • Setting Up Jebao To Ap... I wanted to take this time to clarify a few questions i had along with showing the programming for my PP8 powerheads. In this video i go over my program profiles and how i made them along with the advanced programming in neptune fusion for the PP8 Powerheads. If you have any questions pleas ask me.

I think those adapters are the best gadgets ever made for a apex because you can control them as much as you want great video

Great video. Great use of virtual outlets to "storm" the tank. the process of using profiles and all can be a heady. Virtual outlets can be a great tool.

Can viparspecrta lights be hooked to the apex? They have a digital setting for light intensity

can i use a standard cat5 cable to connect the module to my vdm apex port? and do i need a special pinout of my cat5? i have a crimping set, so i can make my own cable pinouts if needed. thanks!

do i need to buy new power adapter so i can be able two manage two wave maker? or can i use one of the adapters that came with the jebao wave maker?

I can only get one jebao to run made profiles and the one pump works great but the other doesnt any ideas? For your knowledge first apex I go TDY alot so it wold be nice to have if I ever get this thing working

can you really run 2 rw8s at 100% with only one of the original power supplies?

Chad Stout If the power supply is from a twin controller then yes. Otherwise, no. You end up splitting current to both pumps and they run at close to half speed. Voltage is parallel and amperage is series. This is why when you measure something with a multimeter, you actually are connected the multimeter in parallel to the circuit, to measure the voltage. But the twin controller power supplies are rated at twice the amperage of the standard powerhead. Therefore, after the current has split between both pumps, then they're both running of the standard psu amps.

How do i have my pumps on/off opposite of each other? i have it setup how you have it, but the damn pumps shut on/off at the same time, instead of opposite. thanks!

can the jebao pumps be shutoff via the jebao module, if i dont have the pumps connected to an eb8? if i setup an "if feedA = off" is enabled and the pump isnt powered through the eb8? thanks

The only time you can use the feed modes in the apex would be on equipment that is connected to the eb8. Now you can hit the feed button on the jebao controller.

I meant, if i were using thr jebao to apex module for programming. Could i program thr apex module to somehow shutoff, or lower the pump to zero, if a food mode is enabled?

Yes you could go into that variable speed port and set it to shut off if a feed mode is activated.

I'm not getting anything on my dashboard saying the wavemakers are there?

They will show up as variable speed ports you need to rename them. As for your shirt you won, actually you won a giftcard and then requested a shirt later on. Once my move is complete and things are back to normal ill be doing shirt, giftcards ect.
