Try and go to the Hannover 96 vs Stuttgart game its the clash of the giants in 2nd division. Very important match for both! It will be sick, game and fan wise! Worth it ;) Better root for Hannover though :P

please get this man a ticket for the DFB pokal final in Berlin. With Frankfurt fans alone the atmosphere will be crazy, plus its like the german version of the super bowl.
There is no special problem filming the ultras, what they don't like is when people stand in the curve and film or make photos instead of singing and holding up scarfs and hands, which "disturbs" the whole picture if everyone does it... but you're cool!

Dude if you plan to visit the western part of germany you NEED to visit a soccer game of FC Schalke, they're in the first league and the atmosphere is just insane! Also they have a bunch of american players in their U19 team (Haji Wright, Weston McKennie etc), maybe you can do a little challenge with them when you visit the training!

I'm a German-America who moved to California from Munich when I was 8 years old. My parents have since moved back to Berlin and Joe Dirted me to America but as a massive fan of Bayern Munich and as someone who has gone to maybe 10 Bundesliga games now, I love your videos. I think you do a really good job of showing the fun atmosphere without the kitchy bullshit inbetween. You should seriously make more of these and try and become a sports reporter. Keep them coming!
Conner, I was an exchange student in Germany twice and once in Belgium late 80's-90's, I wish I had the technology like today, I would have done what you are doing. thanks for the somewhat clean content (old lady speaking) it does show that awesome fun can be had w/o foul language. My husband is from Frankfurt area and he agrees with some other comments, Frankfurt has the wildest ultras! get to a Frankfurt game!

I think the Ultras have not the problem with filming there support. Only drunken idiots have because of lack of understanding and education. But such people are everywhere in the World also in the US. It is only critical with filming at Derbys because of the strong tension and intensity and also with pyro and the legal situation at such games because police will use your matetial to identify people. But many ultras are students at the university or have a good education and i think you could easily talk to them what you can do and what not. Cheers! Next game Karlsruhe-Kaiserslautern (go to the Kaiserslautern section they have a friendship with stuttgart)
germans in general probably feel more uncomfortable with beeing filmed than us-americans - esp. older ones who grew up before the rise of social media. privacy rights and anonymity are a much more important issue for (older) germans - compared to us-americans. this is why e.g. faces in german news get blurred or edited with a matte and names are not fully mentioned - unless it's about very important cases or people who're famous anyway. in US-news you see unblurred faces and read/hear the full names of average people all the time.
montanus777 you could film everywhere but not in the ultrasection of a german stadium. Not a single german person would shout at you because you accidently filmed him/her. Maybe some people would ask politely if you could delete the pictures/videos you have taken but that's it.

You should try to visit the game between VfB Stuttgart and Würzbürger Kickers in Stuttgart on the 21nd of May. This is the last game of the season where the VfB Stuttgart could be the champion of the second German Soccer division and go the league above. For everybody in this stadium that would be an really emotional moment.
if u want to feel a really intense atmosphere in the whole Stadium, you have to go to Magdeburg in east germany. there the whole stadium is singing and jumping! you also could go to dynamo dresden, one of the best fans in germany.
You should defenetly go to Karlsruher SC against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Saturday the 29. of April. Its also a Derby. Almost like Stuttgart - Karlsruhe
If you have nothing to do on May 1st, you could watch "The Derby of Love" in Vienna. It is an totally different atmosphere there, because the fans of the teams sing together and don´t hate each other.
Have you seen the final game of the season? It was a whole nother spectacle. It was a home game, so there were an insane amount of people who wanted to see it. The stadium was completely filled with 60,000 people, and there was public viewing on the Wasen (the place where the Frühlingsfest takes place) with another 40,000 people watching 4 giant screens. After the VfB had won 4 : 1 thus being first place in the second league and coming back to the first league after only one season, THE WHOLE STADIUM was filled with people, and by that I also mean the field. I was there on the Wasen, but I left after the match ended.
hey Connor very nice video as always! if I may give you an advice, try to get Borussia Dortmund tickets (vs Schalke or Bayern would be damn huge, but hard to get tho). they got one of the biggest stadiums of Europe and often get mentioned for having the "best" fans, much ultras, etc. keep it up man! maybe we meet one time at Signal Iduna Park 🏟 👌😂
Pleeease go to a game of Werder Bremen! They are in first league and after a catastrophe start they are now playing to be in the Europe cup. Bremen is in the north and the northern clubs are WAY more social and peaceful. It's a very nice atmosphere !
You didn't had to delete your new video. If you want to delete the parts which were criticized a lot you could upload some parts of your thoughts about life again. Then the stop at the autobahn and your parking etc wouldn't be in the foreground. Your thoughts wete interesting and motivating. Furthermore this video showed you again as an authentic person who does what he says. 👍
