Connor Clark Barron (born 29 August 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen. He has also played for Brechin City and Kelty Hearts on loan.

Definitely the right path do go down signing young hungry Scots, Barron moves the ball on fast and is very quick to spot a pass, looks very comfortable on the ball, always a bit apprehensive when signing from Aberdeen or Hibs etc but this one looks a good buy

People are missing Kai Fotheringham. The lad scored and assisted 26 percent of Dundee Utds goals. He was a huge part of why they got promoted. The lad could be picked up fairly cheaply just now. During the coming season, his value will go up when people catch onto how good he is.

Good player. Just a shame he has such a pattern of established regular injury. Based on that, it's a no for me. I would sign Watson and Lennon Miller and Kai Fotheringham instead. Here is Barrons injury record: 22/23Groin injury51 days522/23Knee injury123 days1321/22Knee injury13 days220/21Ankle injury83 days-20/21Quarantine14 days Not because of ability, but he becuse he seems to have an established pattern of regualr injury already, therfore I would avoid. Or we can keep moaning about a sicknote squad and win nothing, because we can't field a fit team very often. Updated: The lad is ours now, signed so I will back the lad and give himna fair chance. Hopefully his injury days are behind him and he does well for us.

We've had Jack who plays one game and out for 6. Then Scott Wright...speaks for itself, absolutely useless. The track record coming from the sheep has been average at best. Lets hope this boy breaks the mould. 👍🇬🇧

For 600k you can't really complain tbh hopefully can get a full season in him with us and go from there but with both jack and lundstrum leaving I think he will be a good option

@@Chris-td5zk With a four year deal I'm hopeful Clement can make a player of him. Need to flush out the bad habits and weaknesses the boy picked up at Shitoddrie. 600k seems quite steep for untried and untested, he's the type we should be getting for free....maybe a tribunal could knock 400k off the price. As long as he stays fit and works hard we can't have many complaints. 👍🇬🇧

Update: He is ours now so I will back the lad. Hopefully his injury days are over and he gets to play and show his ability.
