Sherwood obviously offered the biggest check. They will make him any stick he askes for. Even if it a Bauer clone. Bedard mostly played with Vapors before the sponsorship. It's just sad. Sherwood always gave you the best value for money. They will now crank up their prices to pay off Bedard's sponsorship.
Bedars is a huge land for them....but their latest sticks flat out perform and the Legend Pro is one if the best looking sticks ever made with all that detail. Looks matter, probably more than they should, but it sells.
much respect to these guys willing to share and take the time to show how the pros and future HOFers do it. I was salivating watching the whole vid - thanks Conmor and Sherwood, great job!!!
I was using wooden Sherwood sticks at the college hockey level before he was born. So crazy how the stick technology has changed the mechanics of the hockey shot.
I'm almost 50 and only played till Pee Wee's (moved and didn't have hockey offered) The sticks have come so far! Both my kids play now and it's been like relearning the game again. Like you said, the mechanics of the shot are totally different now.
I think you’ve got that backwards. Starting at the toe would be slightly less spin but more velocity. But you are correct, 90% of guys (myself included) tape heel to toe
@@BenBreeg1138 except engineers have studied it and shown there is, in fact, an impact on the puck depending on how your tape your stick. It's not a game changer, but is a piece of the puzzle.
what I wanna know is what kind of sandles they're both wearing. I hate addidas and other brands. Those look pretty well built. I know I couldn't walk on ice with addidas slippers
Whose genius idea was it to film these guys on the ice in flip flops trying to tape a stick sitting down? At least roll out a nice Sherwood branded carpet underneath the chairs and/ or for Connor to stand on so he doesn’t slip and hurt himself. 🙄😑
He's right handed & shoots righty. This is a bad omen. Weak hand on top is a huge deficit. That's a large part of why I predicted he would never ever live up to the ridiculous hype.
Why are you beating a dead horse? Connor's rookie season was average, not the second coming of the Lord as the media was (is?) trying to make him out as. His was so average with 0.32 goals a game and dismal shooting average, not even close to true rookie stars of years past (check the numbers Connor Lovers). Connor you may want to change sticks / tape job next year when playing with the big boys.
Just wanna say y’all wonder why the nhl has less fans than the nba or nfl but then proceed to do boring interviews about a tape job no one cares about instead of doing something fun or just having a good interview with some jokes like your boys in the locker room would be way better than any of this boring bs the hockey community continues to put out
