Just before the start of the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship, members of Canada's World Juniors team met with BarDown to call out some of their teammates for fun.
In a D core that consists of only guys over 6 foot+, Olen Zellweger being 5'10 and unanimously chosen for "Who eats the most" is so funny. He has bulked up so it's not a suprise, he's gonna be a beast.
Lots of fake news. The same was also said about Lysell. And with neither of the 2 has it been like that. And it is being demonstrated and they are going to shut up mouths. From Montreal they had to invent some excuse after not selecting him. (And thats stupid) (I also have to say that not all, many defended it. And they knew it wasn't like that) Just say that you saw another guy as a better option for the future of the team. Nothing more.
@@frankcastle10 why is it always on montreal? Nj and Arizona passed on him too, he never gave them shitty looks and no one ever brings them up. Clearly they saw shit they didnt like either.
@Forgiveness or Love lol no it doesn’t. They came out overly confident (doing trick shots, etc.) and then fell apart when they fell behind and need to scramble (Czechia also played very well). Nothing to do with Shane or his leadership.
@@frankcastle10 Yeah, the media here are bit insane. Always at 11 when they should be at 6-7. Shane Wright did not deserve the bad press he was receiving. I am still happy Slaf got picked but seeing Wright perform makes me happy as well. Also, his parents seem like sweethearts.
Go canada go you guys did amazing in the wjc Especially Connor,Shane,Dylan,Joshua, and Thomas but there all really good go for gold next year in sweden hopefully Connor bedard is playing with canada next year cross your fingers 🤞🤞✅🥅🏒🥇🏒🇨🇦🎖🏆 and can you guys do another video with Canadian players
@@niceneasyraps wtf are you talking about you goof? Lmao everybody has been to LA, you clearly haven’t though if you’re talking like it’s so much better than living in a city like Seattle. 12 year old kid
SCHAF! ALLAN!! MILLIC THE MOST ENERGET GUY ONTO THE ICE IVE EVER MET!! KEV THE 2ND MOST ENGERGIT GUY IVE EVEN SEEN OFF THE ICE (side note i wanted to meet kev schaf and allan but didnt get to at the xmas party but i talked to millic for a minute and he remember me from the fist bump line thingy we do in SEA which was cool)
The A or C does not have to be worn by the best players on the ice. It is also something that goes with age, discipline, team character or how your teammates see you. Nothing to do with whether you are the most skilled on the ice. It's something you see in the NHL and all sports.
I’m sorry but at 6:52 they’re talkin smack on “Al’s” tape job but it’s literally a clean full sock with nice lines…that’s a dece TJ boys tf you talkin bout
Just throwing it out there (as one myself), putting a bunch of pale Canadians in front of a bright white background maybe isn’t the best video decision.
"I don't wanna be clipped on TikTok, like an awful Griddy." You mean like every Griddy? It's the cringiest dance ever created. Beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Well Team Canada just got their as_es handed to them by Czechia and it wasn't even close. This is a good thing because I think they may have been starting to believe the nonsense about being the best Canadian juniour team ever assembled. They sure played like they thought there was no point in even showing up and the Czechs should just concede the game. Maybe they will recognize that they're not even close to being that good and are going to have to work hard or go home early. Even then they might not be good enough. This wasn't a fluke. Czechia was the better team. Bedard looked good doing his dipsy doodling offensively but saw no need to think about defensive stuff. Neither did the rest of the team except they didn't do any fancy dipsy doodling either. They didn't do anything at all. Not sure why they bothered to get suited up. I don't know their coach at all but the Czechian team played a 60 minute 200 foot solid game and obviously were coached very well. They're big and fast and disciplined and organized. Team Canada reminded me of the Sens play - disorganized and chaotic. I sure hope they wake up soon.
Canada plays too much of a Euro style these days. They were dominant back when they played a hard hitting traditional Canadian rock 'em sock 'em style. Now, they just blend in with the rest.
You can’t be considered a bust until your 3rd or 4th year imo. Although he has been pretty disappointing. I see him as a Nugent-Hopkins type player. Like a solid 20-30 goal scoring second liner who has decent defensive ability. This is coming from a habs fan btw.
@@politicalbandwagon4989 I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s been a disappointment cause this season has just been so strange for him. He’s playing on the 4th line when the kraken play him at all. But when he went to the AHL he was dominant. I think he’s got star potential but in my opinion one more full season in the OHL would’ve been best for him.
