Matthews is a great goal scorer but he’s not much of a playmaker. Bedard is an ELITE playmaker and he’ll likely put up 40 goals next year to go along with significantly more assists when he’s the same age Matthews was as a rookie. That argument and any continuation of it is so unbelievably easy to counter. Plus, the leafs averaged more ppg and bedard has a higher ppg himself compared to matthews so your point was moot from the get-go. The original post was right because matthews didn’t put up bedard’s numbers as a rookie and his team was still much higher scoring. If anyone has done more with less as a rookie, Matthews isn’t the guy. Maybe try someone else but bringing Matthews into the discussion when there’s no argument for it isn’t gonna cut it.

they are ONLY quiet for some people. This is an ongoing issue with SOME people but for everyone else it's normal volume. Others have explained it but I cant remember what the deal is

I've told TSN for 7 years about this problem. Some of their videos are so quiet so u have to max your volume to hear it. Then an ad pops after and IT BLASTS YOUR EARS OFF cuz they are so loud.

Bedard has the potential to be better

@@dominickim4596tbh if bedard keeps playing like this he may finish with a better ppg stat than mcdavid did, which says A LOT given the 2023-24 hawks are so much worse than the 2015-16 oilers.

Even though he’s 4 years older than Bedard? Bedard is doing this as an 18 year old, that’s the difference between he and Faber. Faber even played in the NHL last season..

The entire team is a defensive liability because they are awful. That said he backchecks and fights for the puck. In time he will grow into a responsible defender but lets not forget hes also getting the other teams top matchups as an 18 year old hes not going to out mussel a Mickinnon or Schiffle or even Hintz

Have them switch teams and see what you get. Put Bedard on the wild on a line with Kaprizov and his points and plus/minus go way up. Put Faber on the Blackhawks, his points and plus/minus go way down. Pretty obvious. One guy is a good/great player contributing on a solid team, and one is an elite player carrying a terrible team.
