If Keating survives the coming sinking of Albion (maybe due to being in Hollywood?!) he might get another job as one of three _captains_, dragged to the 29th/30th century aboard the _CSS Trine_. Star Trek: Trine (new series, currently scheduled for approx. 2021/22).
The series was limited by writing and budget. The cast was absolutely spectacular. They deserve to be resurrected with a modern budget. Just imagine Discovery finding the re-fitted NX-01 drifting in space with the crew in stasis in the 33rd century....a guy can dream, can't he?
Enterprise was mostly awesome and these two fantastic genuine guys had chemistry with Scott Bakula that reminded me of the chemistry and friendship between Kirk, Scotty and McCoy. Excellent interview. Love to have a beer on an Australian beach with these two guys.
@@itsflowerside It really was, but I feel like the target of the joke was Connor instead of Jeri Ryan, he was taking the piss out of what he'd be like. Still it's a bit of a dodgy comment to make even in good fun
2:00 THANK YOU Connor Trinneer! I have felt bad about how S4 ended, along with the whole show- unexpectedly. I now feel the best about Trip, when I felt the most ripped off for all this time! This is weird to feel so relieved to learn the real truth about a TV character who died 15 years ago! Straight from the man who "died". I still mourn the show, though. Especially after episodes like "In a Mirror, Darkly" and "Storm Front" prophesied such Good shows to come in S6 & S7...waaaaah!
It's 11/26/2020 election is over thank God Covid is still raging but watching interviews like this bring a smile to my face ,you don't know what it means to watch normalcy, till you need it
@@sophienaworynski5594 the illusion is shattered. you thing while watching them perform for years on tv that they are acting in a unique way. totally separate from their real selves. think Tim Russ from voyager or rosa from Brooklyn nine nine. when they are talking just like themselves with similar mannerisms it kind of shows you their acting skills or lack there of. think the wonder woman actress gal gadot who wasn't able to talk with any other accent than her own native one.
I was adamant I didn’t want to see an interview with these two because you’re always put off when they’re not the same in real life but actually these guys are even more charming if that’s possible. You’d love to go for a drink with them.
I was watching the series finale (for the 3th time) and I couldn't stand it so I came here to make the episode go slower or something XD. After this I was gonna watch the new series but I don't know yet… I'm gonna miss these guys so much and… THEY SCREWED UP THE KLINGONS.
I agree with Connor that it was indeed foolish of them not to include previous actors or their characters, even as cameos/small roles or recurring roles. The star trek universe has always been very family/fan-orientated, both from the characters perspective and from the audience perspective- it has that sense of belonging and being together, so including previous actors and actresses in some way either as their original characters or a new character is almost a way of keeping in touch and kind giving a 'shout out' to fans of the other series. It's always been true of star trek to use the same actors for different roles, or have episodes which include previous characters from the different shows. It's a shame that they haven't yet. (I haven't seen discovery past the first episode so correct me if i am wrong)...
I never realized until now how much Connor Trinneer resembles a young Michael Parks. Robert Rodruigez and/or Tarantino should call Connor up for something. The "young Earl McGraw" film project.
Is Dominic as reticent as Malcolm? No wonder Connor takes over! Trip teminded me of my nephew-especially when he was mad! And my nephew Gibby Connor is only 7 mos. younger than Connor.
I am watching, the summer re-runs, mostly skipping the first Star Trek, with Captain Kirk, as I have seen that, Oooh, only about a billion times. Taking it from Next Generation, on up, oh and by the way, My instructor, for my Motion Picture Workshop course, was Mr. David Stipes, who was special effects supervisor, on most of these shows, so that was a totally major, score for me.....! And totally guess what my very first special effect was,..? But of course, he taught me, how to make the "Enterprise Fly through space,..!" A few years ago, I read in some scientific journal, that we actually have the ability to build a real star ship, like "Enterprise", it would not have the ability to go to warp drive, and only be able to go to the moon, and back,..! That was a true, read,...too,..!
I think most will agree TNG and DS9 were the favorites, but everyone likes what they like and that's ok. I just finished this series again and it really started to get good half way through season 1 for me and honestly, was a bit sad it ended so abruptly.
The Xindi stuff was a major step up from the earlier seasons, and the fourth (and, sadly, final) was actually pretty good. Shame Enterprise got axed when it was finally finding its footing... the fifth season would have featured the Romulan War and more of Shran, would have been cool if not awesome with the 4th season level of writing.
