it wasn’t anything like DS9 or Voyager, but it was amazing in its own way. That’s what a lot of people don’t understand. They just compare it to other star trek shows rather than understanding what Gene Roddenberry saw Star Trek as.
Nah was the best people who dint like it are just stupid. I'm sorry but it was fun as fuck. I've watched it a dozen time. The shit star trek was the original. It's funny how people like kirk and hate enterprise... its baffling.
@@StarFinderWebb SPOT ON! ENterprise is my favortie of all Star Trek's There was so much more potential for seasons 5 and beyond. The relationship between T'pol and Trip, Shran and Archer. Malcolm and Hoshi and Travis all had so much more to offer. Just finished the series for the third time. Makes me sad every time to know that's where it ended! Bakula was the best possible Captain!
This guy has done such a good work, from.quantum leap to Enterprise. I'm a great fan! Keep it up Scott. I loved Enterprise, btw. It deserved a couple more seasons and a much better ending, but those were difficult times, let's keep the good things, and perhaps a movie could settle things before we are all too old!.
cole thompson someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I think it was the original intention for Enterprise to eventually take over for TNG when it came to films. Would love to visit that alternate reality…
While I don't mind the JJ Abrams films, I too, wish Star Trek would somehow find a way to go back to ST:Enterprise's time and to see the crew as they might be, so many years after the events of the show's finale. I think the best way to do what would be in a new film.......... although, now that they have ST: Discovery going, I'm like... yeah, now it'll never happen.
@@Uejji Seriously? How old are you? Are you old enough to have actually known Enterprise when it was on. Fans weren't very welcoming at first but they warmed to it. What you're saying is total bullshit. Discovery is in an entirely different league and is actually bad. I bet it won't even get to the little amount of seasons Enterprise had. I'd say you're no old enough to know and you're full of crap.
I agree it seems like Sam fits Scott Backula better I just discovered both shows during the covid 19 these shows came out when I was very young but I didn't know about them but being in the house for months made me look at tv more then ever. So I checked out quantum leap and star trek enterprise. I fell in love with quantum cause sam and Al is so fun love them both. Love that Belsarius had The insight to produce such a master piece with shows that people can talk about way to go. The theme song of enterprise called Archer played at the end of enterprise caught my heart on fire made me look at the show even though I like the star treks but i love that song Archer.
I love how he went to the extra effort of running to either side of the stage to be closer to those asking the questions. That was a super nice touch :D
Enterprise was a great show with a great cast….yes, Scott Bakula was amazing, but then the whole cast of Enterprise was a great Ensemble cast, they had such great chemistry together, and that’s what made the show so great!!
Scott Bakula seems like a really great guy, and I thought he portrayed the honorable & very heroric Captain Jonathan Archer beautifully! I really enjoyed Enterprise, and I thought the show was becoming more interesting, but unfortunately it barely made it through season four. I thought the visual effects looked great! In fact watching Enterprise fly at warp or during warp speed, with the beauty passes, reminded me of watching the same warp speed visual effects in TNG's Enterprise-E from the last TNG film, ST: Nemesis. Watching Enterprise was like watching a mini-movie version of ST: Nemesis. So, overall, I thought the show looked quite impressive on UPN.👍🖖
I am old enough to have watched ToS as a 4 year old begging my dad to turn the channel to cartoons - he wouldn't. I know many won't agree with me but Enterprise was the best one. Archer was the best Captain - sorry Kirk. It had the 2nd best Engineer and Science officer - kudos to Scotty and Kirk. The best doctor - close one McCoy. It wasn't great at the start but those early episodes built the characters. The whole Zindi story is what made the show. I was soooo pissed off when they killed Trip in the last episode. That is the crew that should have been used for subsequent movies. I will give kudos to those movies though as I liked them - particularly the first one. Anyways, nice job to Scott, the crew and the writers - hold your heads high. 💯🍺🍺🍺
I wish they had done 3 more seasons for 7 seasons like the other shows - besides the original. I liked the continuing story arc elements. I liked the characters. In many ways, they were more real to me than most of the others. To me, out of the 4 newer shows, Enterprise and DS9 were the best.
There is certainly something more relatable with the NX-01 crew with modern day humanity. Watching later (in cannon) humans they are very different from us.
It’s too bad Blalock doesn’t want to come back to a resurrected Enterprise series. From what I understand the entire cast has said they are willing to do it except her. Such a shame
He also did Woody Woodpecker in an Enterprise episode outtake during a scene with Jolene Blalock. Immediately, I thought back to that episode of QL "The Leap Back".
The first episodes were bit difficult, but that same goes for TNG, DS9, etc. I wish there had been more than 4 seasons, showing more of exploration and the beginnings of the federation. I think it is a big missed opportunity. The cast for Enterprise was great and probably the most balanced in comparison. Some of the writing for some of the characters in some of the episodes could have been better, again that definitely goes for TNG, DS9, VOY also, but overall Enterprise is still very entertaining and relevant today.
When he ask how was the 17 Yr old guy's grade in school, there is no way that anyone who is obsessed with Star Trek can have a bad grade... I'm 16 and are obsess.. Totally making me study hard for every physic things they mentioned in the series so I can understand them. 🤷🏻♀️
I was wondering if that short pause of the 17 year old was because he was actually homeschooled, and didn't know how to respond to being asked about his grades.
The way film looked on the show, it looked different then TNG, Voyager, and Deep Space 9. While it while is was called Enterprise, the video did not look like other trek shows that I was use to seeing. My first impressions of video from the show made me consider that it a totally different show which was just using the trek name. Fake trek is what I thought. So I dismissed it and pay it no attention while it was on air. That was a mistake. I wonder how many others made the same mistake. Thank goodness that off the air does not mean never seen again. It was a great show with good likable characters and excellent story telling. The Enterprise series with Scott Bakula really did earn it's place, right with all the other treks. Bravo Enterprise
I have to say I too wasn't that into the show when it first aired because I guess for the reasons you say - it didn't feel like the Star Trek we knew. But years later I rewatched and it is such a great show and for me it certainly holds its place along with TNG Voyager and DS9. Scott and crew did a fabulous job. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I would love to see Enterprise-Federation (how Federation was created) - but not under Kurtzman. I like Scott Bakula so much, he's such a nice guy, i hope we'll see him again as Cpt. Archer!
I have a rule that any show involving an extensive amount of time-travel needs to be watched twice. Didn't like Enterprise until my second play-through, because it was hard to follow, and it was the second trek show I watched after finishing the Original series, my second watch was after watching the rest of the shows and then coming back to it.
..in some ways i thought enterprise was the best.. it got going so much quicker than the others i thought.. such a shame it was axed.. ..he talks of stunts, there's a bit when he slides down some metal steps/ladder, really impressed with that 🙂
@@terrydouglas5008 If anything should of been resolved it should of been who the 2 women were. The ones who were also like him jumping into people's lives.
@@richardbradley5217 so, that doesn't mean it's true. As I said Mr. Bakula has given interviews where he didn't believe it ended correctly and would be willing to reprise the role.

This guy was in 3 different shows and not one was to my liking. Quantum leap started off nicely but to my liking didn't end well. Then in New Orleans NCIS it wasn't any good like the other NCIS shows. And finally the Star Trek didn't last long either. I don't think he was such a good actor. The final straw that broke his back was when in the New Orleans NCIS I was in the local VA here in Naw'lins when He came through the corridor going into the rooms shaking hands with the vets there getting treatment or recovering from a surgery and had a bunch of photographers and TV people following him while he was there shaking hands recording him there and to me that was nothing more than him trying to get people to watch his New Orleans NCIS show. I was never really impressed with his acting abalities and to this day will look for other shows where he is not part of. BUT since this country allows me the FREEDOM of SPEECH this is my opinion......
So some people hate Enterprise 7:26 , because they don't have time to follow story arcs? Or is it too human without Federation charter? or too small in Enterprise, when they were the under-dog in space compared to every other races? It a very weak argument, for one DS9 and Voyager uses many story arcs.
Duh - I actually feel a bit stupid. For YEARS I have been disgusted with the trend toward story arcs (and still am - but less since internet/on demand) because I got sick of the idea that if you had something like... oh, say, a LIFE... you would not easily pick up the story. But I forgot that the whole business is heavily influenced by ACTORS! And I can understand how they would like that, but I did not figure out why it happened. I am still a fan of the TNG model though - the characters developed well, but anyone could watch almost any episode and "get it"
@@2bituser569 if there done well. Voyager had zero continuity between episodes which made it feel like a cheap version of TNG but Enterprise really pioneered arcs for Trek in seasons 3 & 4 and did it well
@@davideinfeld4815 agreed her character was cringe worthy throughout that series. Constant gravely voiced whining was like listening to nails on a chalkboard. Bakula was okay although his angry streak in the xindi arc was not his strong suit. He was best in seasons 1,2 & 4
