Conor McGregor talks about his UFC 202 main event rematch against Nate Diaz, training leading up to the fight, his future in the UFC's featherweight division, and much more.
Lord conor did something different for this fight. He wrestled with an alligator. He tussled with a whale. He handcuffed lightning and threw thunder in jail... that's bad. RIP diaz.
Love both of Conor's multiple personalities: his focused, articulate, and humble side is shown mostly in this interview and that is my favorite. BUT, when it's time to fight, he gets himself worked up mentally and spews at the mouth impulsively, which is understandable and is actually theorized to be a subconscious attempt to raise one's heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate in order to prepare the mind and the body for a fight.
Mann...if he does though, been following him since before his fight with Chad and been a fan since. Love Nate too but you just never know what could happen.
Mcgregor winning keeps so many more options open.. I sure hope he avenges this loss. don't get me wrong I love nate but I'm on #TeamMcgregor for the sake of the UFC and keeping things interesting.. plus we all kno that trilogy will be at UFC 209
They will shake hands and embrace after the fight and perhaps during the fight but from what we've seen from McGregor and Diaz, I highly doubt they would be touching gloves beforehand.
sixmam Ive just noticed a lot less/ actually no trash talking and nate even defended conor in the press conference, would you like to bet that they touch?
I think they respect each other because they are true fighters. Nate was surprised by conor and conor was surprised by nate. If they touch gloves it makes sense. They complete each other. lol
There was no interruption between Conor and Aldo. No rapid weight gain or loss. No change in focus on the opponent. Pure preparation. People tend to forget what a highly focused Conor can do.
It's so amazing how money and fame can change the whole person...I remember Conor first when he came to this show and was so humble and very passionate now listening to him, changed man, over the head and cocky in some ways...but he did change the game like he said
Much realer version of him , He's being himself again ,His Dublin accent and phrases are back properly. e.g - ' I woulda lovin ' . What does all this mean ? who knows , but it's interesting.
31.27 haaaaaa haaa arhhhhhh. Ariel - 'Was that you giggling to the bank?" Conor - 'That was me giggling to the bank lady'. = Defo getting blowie of Dee.
Yo i think u might be rite! Lmao if he realy was thats pretty impressive he was able to hold a hole conversation prior to release without makin a single noise 😂😂
this is going to be a fight that makes history even the corner haters know that this is going to be a good fight this man has done more in the short amount of time that has been in the UFC then those Fighters that have been in the UFC for 15 or 20 years you've got to give him credit for that win or lose he is still a awesome fighter and he has the right mindset to be a champion and he is very intelligent you can tell by the way that he talks and he carries he self Nate has been in this business for a long time and he is just now getting the spotlight because of him fighting Conor McGregor so that should tell you something about McGregor that he is something special don't get me wrong Nate is a good fighter but I think Connor is a better fighter and it will be a lot different this time because both Fighters have had a full camp it is going to be a war can't wait
+Tomica von Klinkerhoffen thats funny because they said he was suppose to win last time and didnt. every fight is different but im a diaz fan. nate has more knowledge of the fight game but Conner can catch em with a left you never know.
By the way fellas, Nate won the fight by tapout, not by decision or DQ, or by an injury, why are you guys so hard up for Conor? Conor got banged out on the feet before he was so distraught he tried to shoot and he didn't even have a gun! Journalistically you guys should know better than to take sides and realsitcally nobody knows who is gonna win unless this is really the WWE, I wish I had the number to call in the show because nobody is really asking the questions we want to hear the answers to..
mcgregor is bringing so much money to mma period! so many people who never even care about mma are so interested now.. he's gna be a legit businessman after its all over.. he's gna be great
Connor training with Dillon Danis (Marcelo Garcia black belt) and really focusing on his craft. I think we're going to see the best Connor ever, and the first fight was so dope. I'm sick of the hype, but excited about the fight.
I am a big fan of both fighters I think Nate is going to win because I think he just about makes it as a better fighter and athlete due to his indurance and vegan diet not to mention he's a real badman that said I can see/feel a big difference in Conor coming up to this rematch like he's had a bit of a ego-check, I think his loss humbled him back into the man he really is seems way more authentic now he seems far more relaxed and composed where as before he was giddy with vanity and now he can be more honest about stuff because he's been exposed as not perfect (which noone is!) It will be an amazing fight I have no idea how it's gna go down but I know both these fighters are gna make it memorable!
Connors been practicing LEG KICKS...trust me behind the scenes & closed doors...He's consistently practicing leg kick after leg kick..He's going for Diaz leg..watch n learn!!
Bones will always make it out Alive the new owner Ari is beast he will not let USADA make the best fighter in the world sit out for 2 years we will see him in the Octagon fighting at MSG!!!!
I agree with Ariel's friend at the end there. First time around when it was announced Nate would fight Conor, I had this strange feeling Conor was going to lose. Now, I have a strange feeling Nate is going to lose and it's going to be nasty. I see it going a full 4 rounds before Nate's corner throws in the towel before the fifth. I wouldn't bet on it but I do believe this is what will happen.
And Nate will have a FULL camp, not just 11 days, which is all he needed to prepare to beat Conor last time. The best Conor can do with a win is tie it up with Nate.
I'm going cry so hard if Nate loses. The Diaz brothers are like the anti heros of the UFC. Nate dethrone the emperor but can he do it a second time around? I'm rooting for Nate, but I have a gut feeling like Conor's gonna win, since he's been training specifically and spent 300k on a camp. If Conor wins then all the Conor bandwagons and Conor's accounts are gonna show up again...
hahaha not conor runs his mouth , Nates in his head I cant wait to se how fast he taps this time . conor don't like getting hit . you could see it is his eyes all mouth , better stick to the little men conor
My old next door neighbour sold Anavar (oral steroid) and peptides to Conor McGregor exactly 7 weeks before UFC 196. He said that Conor was talking to his minder and the minder would come back with a question. He'd answer it then the minder would run back to Conor and then come back with another question. This went back and forth 3 times, then the minder gave him $300 (apparently expensive for Anavar) and Conor looked over and gave a sly wave as if to say thanks. It took place in an after party for a boxing match at a small venue just outside of the old Vegas strip. When he told me, I kept a close eye on Conor's size. His body changed dramatically and very fast. I hope Diaz punches his steroid abusing jaw off.
I have a feeling Nate's gonna start stalking McGregor and opening up on him. He already knows his punches hurt McGregor and that knowledge is empowering.
I'll take Conor in a decision. He's gonna take out the legs, then rip his face up. Finally after he gets enough points to win hell just do enough to get the decision.
McGregor wins only if Nate decides to throw it to set up another big payday or he gets cut so badly they stop it. Even if Nate is getting busted up all he has to do is take McGregor to the ground and it's over.
thats not true, nate would never throw idiot lol. if he wins TWICE vs mcgregor, his name value goes up and so is his worth. longterm a win will worth more than a 3rd fight vs mcgregor
+sixmam Not to mention the uproar and outrage he would have heard from the Irish community who put down their kids college funds to come see McGregor fight in March.
i disagree that loss made him learn. it taught him to deal with adversity inside the fight and fix a lot of holes in his game, he will be better thanks to the first loss
Conor Mc Gregor training Camp has cost Up to 300'000 US $. That's means that every middle class worker In the US with 3'000 $ a month will have to work about 8 years to pay for a Conor Mc Gregor Training Camp look like. 8 years without having beeing make any others expense for living so you can easily extend the amount for this Working Camp cost to 16 years of work for any US middle Class Citizen. An ex Soldier, Veteran of US Army would have to serve 16 years in the US Force to pay for a Mc Gregor Training Camp. "Please Let's Welcome the Majesty Conor on UFC 202 "
3:00 Ariel: Is this what you''re hoping for...your plan? .... you know, less media, just go back to the old days of just caring about the fight?" Conor: Nothing set in stone. Depends if I win or not. If I win, then I'd love to continue to talk trash and do more media. If I lose, then I blame media and I will be glad to just go back to fighting. Talking is overrated anyways.
Connor McGregor would be lost in a real war zone! You can't just think about yourself, money, eating the best food, trash talking in a real war zone. Go be a real soldier for a day I guarantee he'll be glad to go back home at the end of the day. RIP Pte Kennedy you were braver and more badass then these guys think they are.
Connor isn't confident at all... you can hear it...the way he's speaking is like it's a farewell speech... "Win, Lose, Draw" wonder if it'll affect his performance.
So Conner will win bcs he will be more measured in his offense? Umm ok, so you know while Conner is "holding back" he's going to be getting boxed up. You think Nate is just going to sit there and wait while Conner holds back? You got Kenflo predicting Conner by 4th rd tko. Wtf is wrong with all these Analysts? If Conner wins it will be in rd 1 or 2. Or if Nate throws the fight to set up a trilogy.
